There’s a new brush hitting the Sephora store and it’s called blendSmart. This is a new way to applying your foundation, especially to those who don’t have time for all of it. This new brush is promising to take the guess work out of blending and assuring you beautifully blended foundation and face powders.
Lucky for me I was sent their Foundation brush. You’re probably asking yourself “what’s different from all the other makeup brushes out there?” well it’s ELECTRIC! Yup you heard me right. It spins while you apply the foundation to your skin, blending and leaving your foundation streak free.

About the blendSMART handle: The motorized brush handle easily allows you interchange brush heads. It spins 360 degrees and spins at 190 RPM. I’d say that’s pretty good.
It also comes with a long-lasting lithium non-rechargeable battery.
About the blendSMART Foundation Brush: The foundation brush can be used with liquid, loose or pressed powder foundations. The brush hairs are premium anti-bacterial synthetic fibers and it’s cruelty-free. If you have sensitive skin this brush will work well on your skin.
When you order the starter kit you will get the brush handle and foundation brush for $69 (+tax/shipping). You can also get the blush and powder brush for $26 each.
Overall I loved the foundation brush and I definitely want to try out the blush and powder brush. I can definitely say this left my foundation looking flawless, even without using the beauty blender.
Some tips for when applying the foundation and using the brush, make sure you apply the foundation onto your skin and then use the brush. Make sure you’re careful when you’re getting close to your eyes with the brush, cause if you’re clumsy like me… I got some foundation in my eye a few times lol Not kidding either.
Have you heard or tried the blendSMART brush?
