I’m sure you’ve seen so many videos on YouTube of how beauty gurus store their makeup. Well, I get asked a lot on how I store my makeup. The reason is because I have so many products at home. I have to say I’m quite proud of my collection because I started with not much when I first started to blog. I remember I kept my makeup in small plastic containers from Walmart and then eventually we had to do a stop at IKEA to get me an Alex Drawer to store my makeup.
But my makeup collection kept growing and growing and now I find myself needing more storage. I would have to say my favorite inexpensive makeup storage is definitely the acrylic containers. I find that these are great to store blush, eye pencils, concealers, small eyeshadows, and lipsticks. I can honestly say that you don’t need to spend so much money on these. I have seen acrylic storage being sold for over $100+ and for me that’s way too much. So I will be sharing with you where I got my acrylic storage.
How I Store My Makeup
Alegory Acrylic Lip Gloss Makeup Organizer, 24 Spaces – Clear // Price: $19.48
If you want storage for your liquid lipsticks or lip gloss then this is what you want. This is by far my favorite when it comes to liquid lipsticks. I don’t have to worry about the lipsticks falling over. It holds up to 24 liquid lipsticks.
Ikee Design Acrylic Cosmetic Storage Display Boxes Two Pieces Set // Price: $12.99
If you don’t have much I’d say this would perfect to have. You can store your foundation, concealer, lip/eye pencils, small lipsticks, powders and brushes in here. That’s what I originally did before my collection grew. It is a 2 piece which means the top part comes off if you don’t want the acrylic to be stacked.
Sorbus Acrylic Cosmetics Makeup // Price: $47.99
I recently just bought this and I’m completely obsessed with it. It’s a 9 set style. Which is perfect to hold my oval brushes (way in the back), setting sprays, lip pencils, lipsticks, gel liners, fluid eyeshadows, single eyeshadows, highlights, bronzers, mini lipsticks, and my lipstick palettes. If you don’t need this much they do have other options as well.
These I found in the Target $1 section. I tried to get 2 more of the white ceramic vases but they only had two so I had to settle for the gold ones. I don’t mind it because it gives it my vanity different styles. They both can definitely hold big brushes and small brushes.
You’re probably wondering where I store the rest of my makeup, beauty blenders, eyeshadow palettes, falsies and much more… well, those are store in my 5 drawers Alex Drawer from IKEA. The only palettes I keep out is my Morphe Brushes.
