e.l.f Cosmetics has been around for a while now and their products have either been a hit or miss. I have always been skeptical when it came to their products because it was so cheap for being a drugstore brand. And when I say their products I mean their makeup products. I’ve never had issues with their makeup brushes. I remember when I first tried their foundation and it wasn’t the best. I really hated it. But it seems like e.l.f Cosmetics has improved their some of their products. I received this blush palette in a PR package as part of the #ElfBeautySquad and I was so excited to see how pigmented these colors were.

The e.l.f Cosmetics Blush Palette includes 4 blush shades in a quad. They only have two shades which are light and dark. The palette comes with a mirror and you can pop out the blush colors once they’re done or swap out the shade colors once they come out with more.

Like I stated above the quad does come in two different shade option – light and dark. The lighter palette contains pink, orange and peaches compared to the dark palette which is redder, bricks and raspberries color. The good thing about this palette it’s that you’re able to mix the shades to create your own blush shade.

As far as pigmentation I would say it’s a lot better than their other blushes that I’ve tried, for example, “baked blush”. I wasn’t too impressed by that blush. But these blushes are quite pigmented. In the lighter palette, you get 3 matte shades and 1 shimmer shade. The formula for these blushes are a bit chalky in my opinion. You definitely get some powder all over the palette when you use it with a brush.

My only issue with this palette it’s that I wish they had more variety of shades. I feel like not everyone can rock these shades, even the darker palette. I really do hope e.l.f. cosmetics comes out with more shades. But you can’t beat the $6 price especially when you’re getting 4 shades in a palette.
