You guys!!!!! I have been so excited to share this with you because I’ve been so excited for this collaboration. I’m collaborating with my blogger bestie Alexis from A Blissful Haven. We are showing you some Valentine’s Day makeup looks + fashion looks for you. This is the first time I’m ever collaborating with a fashion blogger. I can guarantee you’re going to like the looks that Alexis has put together for you if you’re still not sure what to wear for Valentine’s Day.
I’m so excited to be talking to you about a makeup brand that I’ve been testing out for a few weeks now. It’s called Nomad Cosmetics, they are a fairly new makeup brand. It was influenced by three core ideals: exploration for beauty, passion for experiences and desire for authenticity. Each of their shades is named after local landmarks and characteristics of their destinations.
Today I’m collaborating with Kendra from Citizens of Beauty. We wanted to do 3 different eye looks using the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. If you’re not sure who she is, well she’s a mom, makeup artist and beauty blogger. I’ve gotten to know Kendra through comment pods and I’m a huge fan of her work. I have, to be honest with you, I got this palette from my dad 2 Christmas ago and I haven’t used this palette as much as I would have loved to, so I’m really happy that we both agreed to use this palette. I’m a huge fan of smokey eye looks.
You guys one of my goals this year was to collaborate with many bloggers. Today I’m collaborating with Lindsay from Bourbon, Lipstick and Stilettos. I’ve been friends with Lindsay for a year now and I completely love her blog style and the fact that she’s beauty addict like myself. We wanted to create a makeup look today for you that was all DRUGSTORE! Yes you read that right. It’s an “all drugstore makeup look”.
Let’s talk about full coverage foundation. I’ve been testing out so many foundations drugstore and high end and I’ve found that these are my Top 4 Full Coverage Foundation. I’m not a fan of spending so much money on high end products because I feel like there’s always dupes or cheap products for the same type of coverage. The good thing about these 4 foundations is that 3 of them work well with oily skin and one of them works better with dry skin.
Last month I purchased the NEW Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation. I wasn’t even aware about this foundation until I saw my favorite YouTube Guru Nicole Guerriero talk about it and I knew that I needed to get this. I have oily skin (ugh) and majority of my foundations are matte foundations. This is the first time I’ve ever tried a Urban Decay foundation. So when I first tried this foundation, I wanted to test out this new beauty to make sure it would keep my foundation matte all day. Guess what??? It did.
