Pores pores pores. How many of you have big pores like me? Mine are around my nose and underneath my eyes and it’s not cute when you have to wear makeup. A while back I wrote about NYX Cosmetics Pore Filler and this primer is my go to. Today I’m going to talk to you about Products to Help with Pores. I feel like besides the fillers you should still use wash to help with your pores and making sure you’re keeping clean as well.
Those who battle daily with acne-prone skin really know that the struggle is seriously real. And those of us who are still struggling with it in our adulthood are just about fed up with it. I mean acne is just something teenagers deal with, right? That’s what I thought. But when my teenage acne didn’t disappear once I turned 20, I was in for a rude awakening. I went to dermatologist after dermatologist and the treatment I was prescribed helped for a bit but for the past year my face has declared war on me. Fortunately, I’ve been able to pinpoint my acne to a hormonal type and I’ve been treating it by changing my diet drastically. No dairy, no sugar, no soy and no wheat, just to name a few of the things I cut out. What I’ve also had to change is my beauty routine. I now have to be careful about what I put on my face since it’s so sensitive. The biggest change in my makeup was finding the right foundation. I had used MAC for years but as great as it goes on and looks, MAC is horrible for keeping your skin healthy. So I…
*Disclosure Bella Aura Skincare has been provided in consideration for a review. This is not a sponsored post.* I recently had the opportunity to test out a NEW natural skincare line called Bella Aura Skincare. This skincare line is from Canada. Which is something new for me. Bella Aura is the ultimate in “clean beauty”, using the “finest natural ingredients in the world”. Bella Aura was created by Yasmine Jones. A little about Yasmine and what inspired her to create these products- During a very stressful time in her life (her mother battling Leukemia), Yasmine skin started to change. She was having skin issues and severe acne. She spent so much money on trying to find the best product including medication to help her with her skin but nothing worked.
*Disclosure – CocoaBrown Tan has been provided in consideration for a review. This is not a sponsored post.* Looking to keep that summer glow through the winter season? Well today I’m going to talk to you about Cocoa Brown Tan. I love being able to keep my summer tan throughout the winter and the best way to do that is by using self tanners. I do not like to go to the tanning booth. My claustrophobia won’t let me. Cocoa Brown Tan has a line of self tanners for you to keep your summer glow going on from mousse, spray, bronzers etc… I received the 1 Hour Tan Mousse + their mitten. I tend to be cautious when it comes to self tanners because my skin is sensitive. When I first tried this product I was honestly surprised by how the product didn’t irritate my skin. The mousse is a chocolate brown and it smells delicious. Not kidding.

*Disclosure – PÜR Cosmetics has been provided in consideration for a review. This is not a sponsored post.* How many of you have heard of PÜR Cosmetics? Honestly this was the first time I’ve ever heard of them when they first contacted me. I was interested to see what I would be getting in the mail. When I first received my box I was super excited because I saw these PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundations. Not only did they send me 1 but they sent me all of their colors. Which was shocking to me because I didn’t think they would do that. Has you know I have oily skin. I hate it. But this winter I’ve been dry which is a shocker. So I’m very hesitant when it comes to foundations because I like to use foundations that are going to work well with my skin type. When I saw that they were “Water Serum” I was little worried about my skin looking dewy because I do not like looking like a grease monkey.
How many of you can honestly say that you take the time to unwind and relax in your tub…listen to your favorite music, read a book or just drink your favorite wine? Being a mom can be quite hard to do that. The boys are always asking me for something or needing me. Today I’m going to share with you my favorite products and ways to pamper yourself at home.
Let’s talk beauty today! I’m a huge animal lover and I definitely don’t want to buy makeup or skincare products that are tested on animals. So today I’m sharing with you a list of brands that don’t test on animals. And if you’re animal lover like myself then you might want to reconsider the brands at the end of this post that aren’t cruelty-free. What is Cruelty-Free? Cruelty-Free means the products aren’t test on animals.
