Warm weather is in full effect and that means time for a new skincare routine. I’m not sure if you do this but I like to eliminate as many products as I can from my summer skincare routine because I’m an oily skin girl. I don’t like my skin feeling like I have so many products on my face. Because I don’t use so many products in the summer I feel like my skin is lacking great nourishment that I get during my winter skincare routine. Well, that’s all changing thanks to Pixi Beauty’s NEW Multi Misting.
When it comes to makeup my go-to staple is definitely the eyeliner. You already know that I love creating fierce wing liners and for that, I need great eyeliners. I’m extremely picky when I shop for eyeliners especially liquid because some of the liquid eyeliners do bleed, smudge and don’t last long. So far I’ve found my favorite top 6 liquid liners that I haven’t had any issues with. Of course 3 of them are drugstore and the other 3 are high-end.
There is a new brand making a debut in the beauty world, it’s called Sand & Sky. I’m sure none of you guys have heard of this brand and that’s because this brand is from Australia. When I was first sent their Detoxifying + Brighten clay mask, I wasn’t sure what to expect with it. As always I love trying out new skincare products so I’m happy to share with you, my thoughts on the Sand & Sky Detoxifying + Brighten Clay Mask.
I’m sure you’ve seen so many videos on YouTube of how beauty gurus store their makeup. Well, I get asked a lot on how I store my makeup. The reason is because I have so many products at home. I have to say I’m quite proud of my collection because I started with not much when I first started to blog. I remember I kept my makeup in small plastic containers from Walmart and then eventually we had to do a stop at IKEA to get me an Alex Drawer to store my makeup.
Disclosure: Post sponsored by Mirum Shopper but all opinions are my own. Many of you know that besides blogging full time, I’m also a freelance makeup artist in my city. As a freelancer, you basically depend on reliable tools that are affordable. Definitely, can’t be spending so much money on expensive brushes for work when you’re starting off. My favorite brushes to use when it comes to my freelance job is definitely the Real Techniques Brushes & Sponges.
Highlighting and contouring can be hard for some people, who aren’t skilled in makeup. But when I started to get into makeup and improving my makeup application skills, I knew that eventually, I would need to do highlighting and contouring. When I saw that Pixi Beauty collaborated with Maryam Maquillage, I knew that I would love this highlighting and contouring palette.
Now that Spring has finally arrived, well according to the calendar. It’s time that I start getting prepared for the summer season. This means getting my skin ready for dresses, shorts, tanks, and tees. But don’t forget we also need to take care of our hands and feet as well. Because I my skin gets so dry in the winter time, I’m always looking for a great quality body scrubs that also works as a moisturizer for my skin. Which is why I’m sharing with you today this new brand that I haven’t tried or heard of. It’s called “Oliën Body”.
PÜR Cosmetics has done it again. They’re seriously trying to help me step up my lipstick game and I’m not even mad about it. They have launched their NEWEST Chrome Glaze and Velvet Matte lipstick inspired by Fifty Shades. There are 6 Chrome Glaze shades and 6 Velvet Matte shades. We already know that I’m a HUGE matte lipstick kind of girl, so when I saw that there were lip gloss lipsticks and I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it.

Blushes are by far one of the hardest makeup items for me to shop because I’m extremely picky about the colors since I’m tan. Not all blush colors look good on me so I have to be careful when getting blushes. For the past few years, I’ve tried a few different shades of blushes and today I’m sharing with you, Go To Favorite Blushes. These blush palettes are mainly under $20 which is a must for me. And you’d be surprised that out of these only 1 is a high-end brand.
