Arbonne Review

Disclosure a product was received to review. All opinions are my own.  Happy Thursday!!! I’m so excited to have a new product review on the blog this week. I received a quite a few items from Lisa who’s a independent consultant for Arbonne.  Items received: Glossed Over Lip Gloss – Mimosa #7938 Makeup Primer  Blush – Taffeta #7841 Instant Lift Gel Age-Defying Neck Gream Cellular Renewal Masque Nourishing Daily Shampoo / Conditioner Body Cleanser / Body Conditioner Arbonne Baby Care Anti-Aging Skincare Line  I’m not going to go over single item but I will go over some.  Makeup Primer – This luxurious makeup primer glides on to visually diminish the appearance of fine lines and pores, creating a smooth surface. I really liked this primer because it left my skin feeling smooth and it definitely helped with the fine lines before applying my foundation.  The primer is like thick silicone feeling/texture. Little amount goes long ways. Lip Gloss – I unfortunately do not like lip gloss that are sticky. So this was one of those items that were. The color is pretty. I just couldn’t see myself wearing or using the product.  Blush – I love this shade. I love…

July’s Beauty Favorites

OH EM GEE!! It’s already the last day of July. Only about a month left of summer then FALL! Sorry to remind you guys of it but fall is my favorite season. With it being the last day of the month I’m rounding up all my July’s Beauty Favorites.    1. NYX Super Skinny Marker – By far my favorite liquid eyeliner. It’s waterproof and last long. Gives the wing eyes that I always want.    2. ColourPop (High Tide) Highlight – I was a little concerned about this product because you can only use it with a synthetic brush but using your fingers works just fine. I love how pigmented it is.    3. E.L.F Lip Exfoliator – I have been looking into lip exfoliators for a while now and I almost decided to make my own at home but I just don’t like doing stuff like that so I found out that E.L.F had one and for only $3. This product gently removes dry and chapped lips. It has vitamin E, shea butter, avocado, grape Jojoba oils.    4. E.L.F Translucent Powder – I use this for setting my concealer underneath my eyes (“baking”). I’ve been using…

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I’ve been hearing so many raves about the new L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation so I decided to jump on that band wagon and try it out.  Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation is a lightweight and creamy, foundation goes on smooth with a demi-matte finish that lasts up to 24 hours. It also hides imperfections for a smooth, clear complexion. This foundation is perfect if you have oily skin because it’s oil-free.  I love this foundation. You can barely feel it on your face. I gives you medium coverage but you can apply more to get full coverage.  I only had one issue with this foundation and it was the color. I’m naturally tan and unfortunately there is no testers to see which one matches your skin better. So when I picked up “Classic Tan #109” I assumed it was going to be my match well if you can see the bottle looks like it would match my skin tone but no it didn’t. It was too dark for me and I have to mix it with another brand in order to match my skin tone.  Definitely planning to go back and grab a lighter shade so just be cautious when shopping for…

My Everyday Brushes

Happy Friday. The weekend is finally here. I get my boys on Sunday for two weeks this time and I can’t wait to see their cute and adorable faces. Need to start planning things to do with them while they’re here.    Anyways…Today I’m going to talk to you about my everyday brushes. These are brushes that I use constantly because I love them and I feel that they are amazing.    One // Beauty Blender – I use this to apply my foundation and concealer. This is a must have. If you don’t go get yourself one. Target has some if you don’t want to splurge on them. Before using it be sure to damp it with water otherwise your foundation is going to seep through the blender and not apply it to your face.    Two // LAB2 Blending Brush – I love this brush. I have tried other blending brushes but this one is so perfect.    Three // Real Techniques Setting Brush – Before I was using whatever brush I had that was small to apply my powder to set my concealer but this time I decided to get this brush because I’ve seen Nicole Guerriero…

Let’s Talk Eyebrows

EYEBROWS ON FLEEK – that’s all you ever hear me say when my eyebrows are legit on fleek. I take very good care of eyebrows by getting them threaded. Its painful but so worth it.  I never knew how important eyebrows were until one of my girlfriends told me that its the first thing people notice. Ever since she recommended me to get my eyebrows threaded instead of waxing or tweezing them I have never loved my eyebrows more than I do now.  Some products I use to shape my eyebrows when I apply my makeup are:      Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade // This was my very first eyebrow product because two of my girlfriends recommended this to me. It’s long lasting wear, waterproof, smudge free, and the product is creamy. They have up to 11 different shades. With this product you never want to apply so much because its so pigmented. $18/Dipbrow Pomade & $18/Eyebrow Angled brush. Kind of expensive.  BH Cosmetics Studio HD Eyebrow Pencil // I was a little hesitant about this because of how reasonably priced it was but when I first tried it I immediately loved it. The product is so also waterproof, pigmented and…

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lipstick

Today were going to be talking about ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip sticks. Have you heard the rave about them? If you haven’t you’re missing out. It’s currently SOLD OUT. That’s how popular it is. Luckily I got the five colors I wanted.  Let me just say that ColourPop was really good when it came to shipping my first product from them. I ordered these and it took almost a week to get. Which I can understand they had a lot of orders to send out but I was just a little disappointed because they shipped my other order the next day.  Another thing is too, I’m not one to get all hyped about brands I’ve never heard of but when I watched a review from one of my favorite beauty vlogger Laura Lee I just knew I had to get it.  The colors I got I felt like matched my skin tone. 1st Base – is like a light pink color. Definitely POPS. Mars – Magenta feel good for the spring time. Bumble – Is like a brown with red undertones. I love it.  Trap – Is a nude with brown undertones. Creeper – Poppy red. Definitely in love with this…

June’s Beauty Favorites

Normally I would be doing a YouTube video on this but the way my schedule is set up, I have two boys this week and I wasn’t able to do it. So for today I’ll show you in the blog my favorites and then I’ll do a video on YouTube next week. Sounds pitchy? FANTASTIC! Lol These are some of my June’s favorites. Featured in the image above: NYX Matte Lipstick // This lipstick is seriously my second favorite matte lipstick. Very pigmented and long lasting wear. It applies so smooth and you know how some matte lipstick are dry? Well this one isn’t. NYX Butter Gloss // I will be the first one to tell you I’m not a fan of lip gloss at all. But when I decided to get the Butter Gloss they were on sale at Ulta and I couldn’t resist. It’s soft, silky and they even smell good. You can apply the butter gloss alone or you can apply it over another same shade of lipstick. Like I did with the Black Cherry Lipstick in this photo. Swirl and Sparkle Brush Cleaners // If you read my review on this amazing product then you know that…

L.A.B2 Beauty Brushes

Disclosure a product was received to review. All opinions are my own. Last month I got an email from L.A.B2 Beauty about collaborating with them. They asked me to do a review on their makeup brushes. I of course agreed to do it, I mean c’mon who wouldn’t want to collaborate with another company? L.A.B2 Beauty is a brand that puts a powerful new spin on beautiful, creating new ways to inspire makeup beginners and makeup addicts like me. Their brushes are made with FiberLuxe™ Technology, specially designed with the softest and highest quality filaments. These brushes look and feel like professional makeup brushes and I have to say that these are my new go to brushes for my makeup application needs. They sent me the following brushes: Make me Blush Brush Triple Threat Multi-Purpose Brush Angled Shadow Brush Blending Shadow Brush Beyond Eyeshadow Brush Each brush comes in their own little box. I would like to point out the packaging of these brushes. I find the packaging to be quite fancy. The material is sleek, the design is stylish, and the structure is well built. This type of packaging is not something you see with other brushes, considering the price point. The…
