Blushes are by far one of the hardest makeup items for me to shop because I’m extremely picky about the colors since I’m tan. Not all blush colors look good on me so I have to be careful when getting blushes. For the past few years, I’ve tried a few different shades of blushes and today I’m sharing with you, Go To Favorite Blushes. These blush palettes are mainly under $20 which is a must for me. And you’d be surprised that out of these only 1 is a high-end brand.
Last week I wrote I review on one of the products I received from Pixi Beauty which was on the Double Cleanse. This week I’m doing a review and a makeup look on their collaboration with It’s Judy Time. Judy created an eyeshadow palette and lipstick palette. If you’re unfamiliar with Judy, she’s a mom of three girls. So she created this palette so it was a practical and efficient for other ladies or moms out there that don’t have time to do the whole glam.
Happy Valentine’s Day beauties! Hope you all have a fabulous Valentine’s Day with your special person and if you don’t have a special person in your life, hey still have fun today. Get your wine, chocolates and pamper yourself. If you follow me on Snapchat (sassybrunette88) you would have seen that I received a HUGE PR package from Pixi Beauty. When I received that package from my mailman, I was definitely shocked and thankful for it. One of the products I was really excited to try was the NEW Double Cleanse which is a collaboration with Caroline Hirons.
You guys!!!!! I have been so excited to share this with you because I’ve been so excited for this collaboration. I’m collaborating with my blogger bestie Alexis from A Blissful Haven. We are showing you some Valentine’s Day makeup looks + fashion looks for you. This is the first time I’m ever collaborating with a fashion blogger. I can guarantee you’re going to like the looks that Alexis has put together for you if you’re still not sure what to wear for Valentine’s Day.
When I’m too busy or my morning is chaotic I definitely don’t have time to sit at my vanity and do a full glam of makeup. Especially when I have two boys to look after. Today I’m going to share with you, my morning routine. Right after I shower, I like to make sure that I have everything I need for my day.
Ever since I got my braces off and whitening your teeth became the thing to do. I’ve always been told I have a great smile since I had my braces off in high school, so I knew that keeping my teeth white was MUST for me. I’ve tried drugstore whitening products but of course, those made my teeth hurt after a while of using them. Which is not good at all. I’ve been testing out the Pop Smile whitening kit for a few days now and I have to say I’m quite impressed by the kit.
It’s been a while since I’ve done beauty favorites. I wanted to start them back up because, to be honest, I love sharing with you guys which products were my favorite whether I purchased them or received them. Now these products I have here are products I have purchased with the exception of the Sigma Brushes. These products I have been using for more than a month so I can honestly say these are by far my favorite products.
You guys I’m so excited to be sharing with you something I’ve been using since I first received it. About a 2 months ago, I want to say – I received the Kaplan MD Perfect Pout Duo products. I’ve always wanted to get lip injections because I dislike my lips but guess what? I’m afraid of needles (even though I have tattoos). Plus I’ve seen some women get bad reactions to lip fillers and knowing myself because I’m like allergic to a lot of things, I didn’t want to take the risk.
I have another fun collaboration and it’s with my girlfriend Andrea from Glam Hungry Mom. We have been friends for a long time now it seems. Just like me, she also has two little boys and loves all things beauty. So we hit it off great. We wanted to create a makeup look using a palette we haven’t used but that included a pop of color. We both decided to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made palette.
I’m so excited to be talking to you about a makeup brand that I’ve been testing out for a few weeks now. It’s called Nomad Cosmetics, they are a fairly new makeup brand. It was influenced by three core ideals: exploration for beauty, passion for experiences and desire for authenticity. Each of their shades is named after local landmarks and characteristics of their destinations.
Today I’m collaborating with Kendra from Citizens of Beauty. We wanted to do 3 different eye looks using the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. If you’re not sure who she is, well she’s a mom, makeup artist and beauty blogger. I’ve gotten to know Kendra through comment pods and I’m a huge fan of her work. I have, to be honest with you, I got this palette from my dad 2 Christmas ago and I haven’t used this palette as much as I would have loved to, so I’m really happy that we both agreed to use this palette. I’m a huge fan of smokey eye looks.
Back at it again with a skincare review, this time it’s all about rainbow masking. I have been trying these masks from Bonvivant Botanical Memebox for a while now and honestly before I received these I didn’t know what rainbow masking was. If you’re unfamiliar with rainbow masking it’s basically where you can apply 3 different types of masks on your face for different skincare reasons.
You guys one of my goals this year was to collaborate with many bloggers. Today I’m collaborating with Lindsay from Bourbon, Lipstick and Stilettos. I’ve been friends with Lindsay for a year now and I completely love her blog style and the fact that she’s beauty addict like myself. We wanted to create a makeup look today for you that was all DRUGSTORE! Yes you read that right. It’s an “all drugstore makeup look”.
