Happy Friday beauties! Today I’m teaming up with my friend Natalie from Hashtag Fab Life to share with you what products we use to keep our skin glowing this winter. Yes, we’re talking about winter already but let’s be honest here, some us that live in parts of the states are already experiencing cold weather which means, dry skin. I dislike dry skin. I hate how it feels. Because we have already been experiencing cold weather in Wisconsin, I’ve noticed that my skin has been starting to get dry on my face.
This week for the Beauty Mix is all about the Halloween makeup looks. Both and I are so excited about this because we’re able to show our creativity. This week we both wanted to do a Mermaid Halloween look and this is what I came up with. If you weren’t aware, my sister, my niece and I will be mermaids this Halloween so I’ve been practicing my looks. Super excited about this because I’m dying for us three to post pictures of our looks.
Let’s talk about makeup brushes. I’m constantly being asked which brushes I use and which are my favorite. Since I’ve been doing makeup for almost 2 years I’ve come across a few “hits” and a few “ugh this sucks”. But these brushes here are the ones I use daily on myself. Some of these brushes are drugstore and high ends. I’ll be talking about they what they do and what you can use them for as well. But again you can always use the makeup brushes any way you want to as well.
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MyPureRelief #CollectiveBias You guys already know that I’m all about the glam makeup looks. It’s either a smokey eye or bold look. Even though I do feel 100% confident without makeup, for me it’s all about being glamorous. Especially with a brown smokey eye and dark lips. Unfortunately with all the makeup it can be harsh on my eyes. It can cause redness, itchy, or worse irritation. It’s something that was told me to a few years ago. One of my favorite ways to help with the red, irritated eyes is using the Clear Eyes® Pure Relief™ Multi-Symptom. The thing I love about these eye drop it’s preservative free.
Welcome to this months Beauty Mix with Ashleigh and I. This week for the Beauty Mix is all about the Halo Eye. If you’re unfamiliar with the Halo Eye look; it’s basically where you have the darker shade in the inner and outer crease blend it into the crease and then add a bright shadow in the center. How many of you love the halo eye looks? I love it because it’s so easy and simple to do. I used 1 palette for this look and if you have it this palette you’re in luck! Which palette did I use? The MannyMUA x Makeup Geek palette. I wanted to use this palette because I haven’t really been using it as much as I would love to especially since I’ve purchased it. This palette is so popular because of the quality of the eyeshadows and of course because of the shades. This palette is perfect for all year round.
Disclosure-Elemis Skincare products have been provided by #PreenMeVIP in consideration for a review. This is not a sponsored post. One of my favorite things about beauty is definitely skincare. Some people don’t realize how important taking care of our skin. Did you know it’s the largest living organ on our body! As I get older I love to make sure that I’m taking precaution for aging. I want to make sure I’m using products to help or avoid aging. Elemis Skincare products have taken part of my skincare routine every morning and night. I’ll be sharing with you my review on these amazing products.
Welcome to this months Beauty Mix with Ashleigh and I. This week for the Beauty Mix is all about the cut crease. I don’t know about you ever since I learned how to do a cut crease I fell in love with it. I love the way cut crease looks you can make them bold, sharp or subtle. I created this subtle cut crease look using the Morphe 35F (Fall into Frost) palette. I freaking love this palette and how it’s perfect for fall makeup looks. If you haven’t yet purchased this palette do it! You won’t regret it. I wrote a full review on that palette here!
Welcome back to this weeks Beauty Mix with Ashleigh and I. This week for the Beauty Mix is all about the plum colors. What a perfect shade for fall. For the Beauty Mix: Plum I decided to use two of the Tarte Cosmetics palette; Energy Noir and Tartelette Amazonian Clay matte shadows. I love these palettes because they’re seriously for creating beautiful simple warm tone eye makeup. I wanted to keep this makeup look simple but glamorous at the same time. All the makeup details for this makeup look will be listed down below.
Welcome back to this weeks Beauty Mix with Ashleigh and I. This weeks Beauty Mix: Olive. I love the olive green colors especially on anyone because this color just goes well with any eye color. I have brown eyes and sometimes finding colors to make my brown eyes pop can be hard but olive (or purple) definitely does the trick. I’m using the eyeshadow shades from the new PUR Cosmetics Selfie 2 palette + a foil color from the Makeup Revolution – Makeup Geek palette.
Eyebrows on fleek! At least that’s always important to me. Before I started to get into makeup, I had no clue which eyebrow products to use or start off with. So when I started to watch youtube tutorials I noticed a lot of bloggers were using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade but of course I was hesitant about it because it was a high end brow product and I wasn’t sure how to use it.
