What I’m Thankful For

Can you believe it, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Last week Friday I did a post on What Bloggers are Thankful For and today I’m sharing with you What I’m Thankful For.  Here are a list of things I am thankful for:

Rustic Souls

Happy Sunday beauties.  Today I want to share with you an amazing jewelry site called Rustic-Souls. They’re one of a kind handmade jewelry, accessories and more. I decided to join this campaign because I feel like these pieces are so unique that you can’t find them anywhere else.  Think of it like they’re making a special unique piece just for you!

Beauty in the Everyday

Hey, there! I’m Nina and I blog over at Flowers in my Hair. You’ll find me writing about everyday adventures and the truth about them, DIY , beauty, travel, writing (because I call myself a writer), photography, recipes (typically recipes from my Italian family), health, books (they are kind of a vice but I show remarkable restraint by posting 1-2 times a month about them), short essays about serious stuff or things I am learning (on Thursdays), organization (by blogging about it, I have to try and organize my chaos), a bit on blogging itself, and probably a lot of other things. I also love elephants. If you don’t know me, I thought I would show you some things that make my world a little more beautiful. I think finding the beauty, the adventure in the everyday, in the mundane is so important. It’s like building up your muscles so when really terrible things happen in the world, even then, you can still spot beauty amidst the chaos and pain.

What Bloggers are Thankful For

Thanksgiving is 7 days away and today a group of bloggers joined me this month for “What Bloggers are Thankful For” to share with you what they’re thankful for. Next week I’ll be posting a list of things I”m thankful for but today I want you to read what these amazing bloggers are thankful for.  Kicking it with Kelly 1. What are you looking forward to on Thanksgiving? Having my husband home from work for the first time in many years. 2. What are your family traditions? We have a roast instead of a turkey (no one likes it in my house).  3.  What are you thankful for? Every blessing in my life and those to come.

I don’t know if I want to wear a sweater dress or jeans with a cute cardigan… decisions decisions. Needing: A big cup of coffee, donuts and chocolate.. ANYONE?? Eating: Waffles. I guess this will do for breakfast.  Drinking: Water because I’m too lazy to make coffee right now.    Be sure to check out these other posts: Christmas Gift Swap Sponsor Spotlight with Hey Kerri Blog Fall Bucket List Update Mac’n Cheese Cup Recipe My Sponsor Posts: Flowers in My Hair- Five Confessions Hey Kerri Blog –Fri-Yay vol.29 Cali Darling Blog – Currently Reading Hel on Heels – Erin Condren vs Plum…

Fall Favorites

Fall it’s everybody’s favorite time of the year. Whitney from The Whitney Story tagged me for The Fall Favorites. I’m super excited to be doing this because I feel like it’s a great way to get to know me better and I can tag other bloggers.  Favorite Candle: Anything that smells like pumpkins, leaves and makes my house feel warm.  Favorite Lip Color: Clay Crush by Maybelline. It’s such a gorgeous color. You can find the swatch here. The color reminds me of Kylie Jenner’s lipstick.  Favorite Drink: In the fall if were talking about warm drinks it has to be a good cup of hot cocoa or Peppermint Mocha coffee. Yum!! Favorite Blush: Makeup Revolutions Hot Spice blush palette. Just gives you a variety of shades in one palette that you can mix together.  Favorite Clothing Item: Oh it’s definitely – leggings. I just love wearing leggings everyday. Lol It’s comfy and you can pretty much wear it with anything.  Favorite Fall Movie: Hocus Pocus & Harry Potter. Uh hello who doesn’t love a good witch movie and wizard movie.  Favorite Fall TV Show: The Originals. I just love a good vampire, ware wolf, and witch show that keeps you on…

Fall Shows Currently Watching

Fall as you know is my favorite season but it also means my favorite tv shows are also back. What shows am I watching this fall? Dancing with the Stars – I love this show. I have been watching every season and currently I’m rooting for Alexa VegaPena, Alek Skarlatos, Bindi Irwin, Andy Grammar and Nick Carter.  The Bastard Executioner – Life changes forever for 14th-century warrior Wilkin Brattle when a messenger implores him to set aside his sword and lead the life of a journeyman executioner. In a time of rebellion and political upheaval, he must walk the line between protecting his identity and serving a mysterious destiny, guided by mystical healer named Annora. In addition to being under Annora’s control, he is manipulated by Milus Corbett, a devious Chamberlain with political aspirations. Wilkin must traverse political and emotional pitfalls on his way to understanding his greater purpose — all while being driven by an increasing romantic connection with Baroness Lady Love Ventris. Empire – Uh hello who doesn’t love a little drama. Hip-hop artist and CEO of Empire Entertainment, Lucious Lyon, has always ruled unchallenged, but a medical diagnosis predicts he will be incapacitated in three years, which prompts the…

Keeping Your Relationship Alive

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year. Yeah only a year. We live together already (you can keep your comments on that to yourself). But we both knew it was just right. He has no kids and I do. He came into this relationship knowing that dating & being with a full time mom was going to be challenging and stressful but let me just tell you he’s been so supportive and I love him more and more everyday for that.  My boys only see their dad every other weekend during the school year, so my boyfriend and I don’t get much of an alone time together. When we do we make the best of it.  Today I’m sharing with you some ways we keep our relationship alive. Keeping your relationship alive is very important in a relationship.  Date nights = some people don’t know this but taking time is important. You get to enjoy dinner without any interruption of children and you get that alone time to focus on each other.  Be game for anything = Play video games, try something new, or watching a movie together that you two haven’t seen (oldies are my…
