Dear Pumpkin Spice

Oh today’s post is going to be vent type post. I have a huge bone to pick with Pumpkin Spice.  Some of you love or obsessed with pumpkin spice and others like me we hate it. Today I’m sharing with you reasons why I hate pumpkin spice.  Dear Pumpkin Spice,  You sound and look disgusting – I can’t stand the taste of pumpkin at all and the fact that it’s mixed with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and allspice… yeah I’ll pass on that.  You have seriously taken over EVERYTHING – Beginning of September everything pumpkin spice was out: coffee creamer, cupcakes, cake, cookies, marshmallows, candles, cream cheese, candies, chips, you name it there’s probably a pumpkin spice for it.  People won’t stop talking about it – yes it’s fall and fall is a beautiful time of the year but can we please stop talking about it. I’m so over it already.  I’m sorry guys. I’ve been wanting to say this for a while now. I’m a firm believer that Thanksgiving should have pumpkin pie (not that I eat it lol) but can we just take a moment and just enjoy fall without pumpkin spice something.  What are your thoughts on pumpkin…

Knocking on 30s Door Soon

You guys today I turn 27 years old. I’m literally knocking on 30’s door soon. I’d figured I would share with you guys 27 fun facts about me: I can eat potatoes everyday. Whether its french fries, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, hash browns.. lol  I have to drink my coffee in my Sally’s (The Nightmare Before Christmas) cup now. I refuse to drink coffee in any other mug while I’m at home.  I have a ketchup phobia. I’m addicted to my iPhone.  I dislike cuddling or being touched. I don’t give hugs when greeting people. Lol Sorry.  Fall is my favorite season.  Halloween is my favorite holiday. I’m scared of clowns and creepy face painted dolls.  I love scary movies (that don’t involve clowns). I’m addicted to makeup – but you guys already knew that lol  I’m 50% Dominican and 50% Ecuadorian.  I was born in Brooklyn, New York.  I’ve been divorced.  My favorite color is blue and pink.  Tiramisu is my favorite dessert.  I will only eat chicken and seafood. Occasionally ground beef but I have to do it myself because I’ve had bad experience with red meat.   I love the scent of Irish Springs body wash –…

Aardvark Straws Review

*Disclosure – Aardvark Straw has been provided in consideration for a review. This is not a sponsored post.* Have any of you heard of Aardvark Straws? If you haven’t you must get them.  Aardvark paper straws were introduced in 2007, primarily in response to a growing anti-plastic movement. Restaurants, hospitals and other services industries, the main buyers of plastic straws in the US, were forced to look for more sustainable, eco-friendly options. – Aardvark Straws Their mission is to make sipping, crafting, decorating and entertaining fun for everyone but also good for the planet.    Reasons why you should consider buying Aardvark Straws for future parties, decorating, sipping, or crafting:  Plastic straws are made from polypropylene. Which is a petroleum bi-product that are also used in our vehicles – YUCK Plastic straw are the top 10 debris items and 44% of all seabirds and mammals have ingested these – poor animals.  90% of all trash floating in all oceans is comprised of plastic. I saw a video of a turtle had a plastic straw stuck in his nose because of this, it’s truly sad for our animals.  And in the last 25 years 6,263,213 straws and stirrers were picked up…

Weekend Recap via Instagram

Happy Monday. Who am I kidding? No one likes Monday. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I know I did. My legs are even sore from the weekend I had.    This weekend we took our boys and nephew to Mt. Olympus. We had so much there. Even though it was a cloudy day we were still able to enjoy the indoor waterpark & theme park. Rylan and Landon had troubles going into the pool because they were scared since there was so many people (they did have life jackets).  Rylan went on his first amusement park ride for kids. He loved it. He said he wanted to do that again. He even asked if he could do the adult rides lol Of course I said no. Landon was too small to get on anything so he had to settle for watching on the side lines.  The waterpark/theme park is so big because they have outdoor attractions as well and we had to do a lot of walking. Let’s just say my legs are sore. Thankfully my boyfriend gave me a foot rub.    Sunday we had a relaxing day since we had such a busy Saturday. I was…

Places I’d Love to Travel

How many of you have a wish list of places you would love to travel to? I know I do. As I get older I hope that I’m able to accomplish and visit these places before it’s too late. There are only TWO places that I REALLY want to visit.  Greece // I have been fascinated with Greek mythology since I was in high school. I’m not sure what it is but it draws my attention. Not only is that the reason why I want to visit Greece but that country is so PRETTY! Italy // I don’t know about you but when I think of Italy I think of wine, pizza, and amazing tiramisu. Lol I love Italian food. It’s so delicious.  Aren’t they both beautiful countries/cities? I just love the colors, the lights, food, and I just can’t wait to check them off my bucket list. Definitely planning to take my boys with me. You only live once right?    What are some places you’d love to travel to?

Fun Weekend with the Kiddos

This weekend we surprisingly got a warm weather. 50 degrees and I was able to wear my ripped jeans, boots, tank and cardigan. I loved it. I hate having to bundle up. We decided to take the boys to Chucke Cheese and Ella’s Deli. Why not take advantage of the good weather. Boys were so excited to go to Chucke Cheese. We haven’t been there since Rylan’s 5th birthday. I don’t know about you but I love Chucke Cheese pizza. So delicious. We had a competition to see who could win tickets for the boys. Of course we split in teams. Rylan and Mommy – Landon & Brian. They won. 149 tickets and I only got 94. Lol Sad day for me. After some fun there we took the boys to Ella’s Deli. It’s such a fun place for the kids. Their ice cream so delicious.   The boys were so amazed by the fun stuff around the restaurant. Landon had the “superman” ice cream and Rylan had the “rainbow” ice cream. Brian and I decided to get the “Grilled Pound Cake with ice cream and hot fudge”. Delightful.
