I’m always sharing about daytime skincare routine and I realized that I haven’t shared with you, my nighttime skincare routine. My nighttime skincare routine definitely consists of a lot of misting sprays, moisturizer but most importantly vitamins. I suffer from dry skin, mainly on my legs and arms. Because of my dry skin, I try to find great products that will help me with giving my skin moisture.
It’s been a while since I shared a makeup look on my blog and today I wanted to share with you this Simple Peach Glowy makeup look I had created a few days ago which has been my favorite to do because of the simplicity. During the spring/summer months, I love to keep my makeup looks very minimal because I don’t have time to sit and do glam because it’s just going to melt off. The humidity in Wisconsin is insane during the summer months. So the fewer makeup products I have the better for me.
I have never tried any of the Marc Jacobs beauty products. Reasons for this it’s because it’s so expensive. But when I received the Coconut Glow in my mailbox from Influenster, I was so excited to try it out. I’m sure you saw this on my Instagram feed a few weeks ago and I’ve been raving about this dewy drops. I have to say I’m completely obsessed with this highlight. Now, normally I don’t use cream or liquid products on my face because I am an oily skin girl. But that didn’t stop me from trying this.
I have been using E.L.F Cosmetics since the day it launched. I was always skeptical because it was so darn cheap and usually cheap means horrible quality products. At first, I wasn’t too impressed with E.L.F Cosmetics but they have come long ways. Throughout the years their products have improved. I have to say that their lipsticks are starting to be my favorite right now.
Warm weather is in full effect and that means time for a new skincare routine. I’m not sure if you do this but I like to eliminate as many products as I can from my summer skincare routine because I’m an oily skin girl. I don’t like my skin feeling like I have so many products on my face. Because I don’t use so many products in the summer I feel like my skin is lacking great nourishment that I get during my winter skincare routine. Well, that’s all changing thanks to Pixi Beauty’s NEW Multi Misting.
When it comes to makeup my go-to staple is definitely the eyeliner. You already know that I love creating fierce wing liners and for that, I need great eyeliners. I’m extremely picky when I shop for eyeliners especially liquid because some of the liquid eyeliners do bleed, smudge and don’t last long. So far I’ve found my favorite top 6 liquid liners that I haven’t had any issues with. Of course 3 of them are drugstore and the other 3 are high-end.
There is a new brand making a debut in the beauty world, it’s called Sand & Sky. I’m sure none of you guys have heard of this brand and that’s because this brand is from Australia. When I was first sent their Detoxifying + Brighten clay mask, I wasn’t sure what to expect with it. As always I love trying out new skincare products so I’m happy to share with you, my thoughts on the Sand & Sky Detoxifying + Brighten Clay Mask.
Being a mom is hard. There have been times where I question myself if I’m even doing the “mom” thing right. And to be honest there is no right answer for that. I never wanted kids to begin with. I hated being around kids when I was young. To me, kids were annoying and obnoxious. Sorry, that’s the truth. When I first found out I was pregnant with my oldest, I was so nervous. I was only 19 so I was just still a teen myself. Like how in the world am I going to raise a child.
I’m sure you’ve seen so many videos on YouTube of how beauty gurus store their makeup. Well, I get asked a lot on how I store my makeup. The reason is because I have so many products at home. I have to say I’m quite proud of my collection because I started with not much when I first started to blog. I remember I kept my makeup in small plastic containers from Walmart and then eventually we had to do a stop at IKEA to get me an Alex Drawer to store my makeup.
Spring is here and with all the changes I’m doing in my apartment, I felt like I needed to do a Home Decor Spring Inspiration post. Right now my living room feels dark with the red couches I have and black furniture, so we’re doing a coffee table, tv stands and end tables from scratch to fit the “Rustic Farmhouse Style” I want. We are planning to get couch slip covers but I haven’t really found the ones I want.
