Quick & Easy French Toast

I’m always trying to find simple and easy ways to make breakfast in the morning. Especially for the boys. Mornings are always busy during the week. Sometimes the boys will ask for French Toast. Here’s a quick and easy French Toast recipe.

Mamas Tell All | Saying Goodbye to Diapers

Linking-Up with: That Southern Mama The Rambling Llama Everyday Thoughts The So-Called Homemaker Today we’re talking about saying goodbye to the diapers. You have no idea how happy I was when my boys kicked those diapers to the curb. Best thing ever. Rylan was the worst though. He is of course a boy and of course my first child. Which meant it took some time to say goodbye to the diapers. He was 4 when he finally said goodbye to pull ups. He was all potty trained – accident free. As soon as Landon turned 3, I started to put him in pull ups because he saw his brother use the potty and he wanted to be like him – “a big boy”. As soon as I saw him going here and there, I decided to take the pull ups away. I did what I did with his brother, grabbed him some briefs and put them on. If he had accidents, I would let him walk sit in it for a bit so he realizes how uncomfortable it is. After 2 days he finally got the hang of it. Then we went a week, another week and another week…accident…

Mamas Tell All | Kids Say the Darnest Things

Today we’re talking about the things that come out of our little ones mouth. My boys are 6 and soon to be 4!!! They already have a sassy attitude and I blame myself for that because they have a sassy mama. Things that Rylan says: “Do it yourself” “You’re lazy!” “You didn’t say please” “UGH” “Let me do it” Things that Landon says: “Mommy, I want something” (he’s always wanting something) “I need to go poop” (Go poop then lol) “Can you help me mommy?” (when he’s up to no good 75% of the time) “Can I get some candy?” (95% of the time and he knows the answer to this all the time! lol) Conversations that happen between my boys and I: Me: rylan you cried on Friday?Rylan: Yes because I missed you.Me: awwww my baby! Landon: I didn’t. Me: okay jerk. Lol **The day they came back from their grandma’s house.** Me: Landon what are you doing? You should be in bed! Landon: I’m tucking in Jesse, Woody, & Buzzlight Year. (His Toy Story stuffed animals) Me: We’re having chicken for dinner. Boys: I don’t like chicken Me: You guys eat chicken nuggets, it’s the same thing! Boys: No it’s…

Spring/Summer Bucket List

Spring is finally here, at least in Wisconsin. I’m so excited for warmer weather and spending time outside. Last year I was able to spend a lot of time out in the sun and this year I want to make sure I do the same. There’s a lot of fun things to do in Spring/Summer and I plan to accomplish some of them. Here’s my bucket list: Plant flowers: I live in an apartment and I have this huge balcony, the sun rises on my side of the apartment and I want to be sure that I can plant some pretty flowers on my balcony. Farmers Market: I want to go to as many farmers market this year. Purchase a few items from there. Have a picnic: The boys will enjoy this. Go to the park where we can see the beautiful city and enjoy food on a blanket and just soak in the sun. Brewers Game: The boys haven’t been to a Brewers game and I’m sure they will love this. Milwaukee Zoo: We haven’t been to the Milwaukee Zoo and its way bigger than the one in our city so this will be a lot of fun to…

Freeman Face Masks

I received 5 sample packets from this brand from Influenster. 1. Avocado & Oatmeal Mask 2. Charcoal & Black Sugar Mask 3. Honeydew & Chamomile Sleeping Mask 4. Cucumber Peel Off Mask 5. Coffee & Chai Energizing Paper Eye Mask Out of all of the 5 samples I received, I really enjoyed the “Charcoal & Black Sugar Mask“. It left my skin feeling so smooth, energized, and clean. I have bad pores (so I think) and it felt like my pores were so squeaky clean. My boyfriend has also tried this and he also enjoys doing the mask. Lol shhh don’t tell him I told you this. I decided to go on Ulta and see which other mask they have. I decided to get the “Deadsea Minerals Anit-Stress Mask” and let me tell you… this one works amazing. I do it right before bed and leave it for 10 mins twice a week and my skin feels so relaxed and calm. I’d say these were a bargain because for each 6oz bottle it was $4.29. That’s a deal. I definitely recommend these. What are your favorite face mask? This review is based on my opinion. I was not compensated for this…

Mamas Tell All | To Spank or Not to …

This week’s topic is “To Spank or Not To Spank”. This may a touchy subject because everyone is different as far as how they discipline their child. The way I was raised, my parents always spanked us when we did something naughty or misbehaved. Of course that taught us to behave good when we were in a public setting or anywhere with my parents. We’re hispanic so I’m sure some hispanic people can relate. Well now that I have my own kids, I have a different way of disciplining my boys. I use the “time out” method because I just don’t like to spank. My sister always tells me that I’m going to be walked all over because majority of the time the boys get away with their naughtiness. The way I see it, my kids they listen and they know when to not behave bad. I tend to take away their toys, game systems, tablet, etc.. Like I said every parent is different but the way I see it, as long as your method works…GREAT! That works for you and your child. Not everyone is the same. How do you discipline your kid(s)?
