Today we are talking about hair masks. It is one of my must-have products and a must to do 2x a week with my curly hair. It’s great even when I am planning to straighten my hair to give my hair some moisture and repair. I’ve tried many hair masks and a few were a hit and others were meh. In today’s blog post, I am going to share with you a 10 hair mask I truly love and will continue to use.
10 Best Hair Masks
Now that I don’t have my hair extensions, I am able to rock my hair either straight or naturally curly. I tend to wash my hair 1-2x a week depending on how much time I spend in the pool because let’s be honest, I love being in the water with my kids. Chlorine tends to dry my hair out but I do love using my Ultra Swim Shampoo which helps remove the chlorine from my hair. Even with using that shampoo I still need to do a hair mask to bring back moisture and of course, repair my hair.
Tip: If you have time, I always leave my hair masks in for about 1 hour because I feel like it works better on my hair strands.

Not Your Mother’s Nutrient-Rich Butter Masque
I love how this one smells. This mask is a detoxifying hair mask. It has a blend of matcha green tea and wild apple blossom. This helps enrich hair and scalp with antioxidants and nutrients for a good deep clean. The hair mask helps restore damaged strands and purifies your hair.
IGK OFFLINE Hydration Mask
I’ve actually talked about this hair mask on Instagram and this is another great mask for a quick treatment. You only need to leave it on for 3 minutes. It helps repair your hair from the inside out. It contains turmeric butter and green tea seed oil. Turmeric butter is going to hydrate and replenish your hair while it protects against future damage. The green tea seed oil is going to smooth the hair fiber, locks in your hair color, and adds shine.
Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3
This hair mask comes in a small bottle. I wish it was much bigger for the price you pay but I do think it’s worth it. The hair mask helps reduce hair breakage and visibly strengthens your hair. This hair mask is highly recommended by my hairstylist. It works on all hair types.
Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Mask
I’ve talked about this hair mask on here. It’s definitely a good one to have. I’ve gone through this hair mask like candy. I love this hair mask because it helps revive dry, damaged hair from heat styling, dyes, and the environment. While it also helps repair the hair from inside out to make your hair look healthy. Restores your hair back to its pure state, tames frizz and split ends, and lastly, it conditions the root to tip to give your hair hydration.
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Masque
If you haven’t tried Alterna Caviar brand, you totally should! I’ve written a blog post on their hair products and I absolutely love their products. This hair mask especially since this is an anti-aging replenishing moisture masque. It’s an intensive moisturizing treatment that replenishes moisture-starved strands so it leaves your hair feeling smooth, silky, and youthful. You only have to use this once a week! And if you have dry, coarse, and damaged hair you need to give this a try.
Raw Sugar Living Healing Power Agave Hair Mask
I was really impressed with Raw Sugar Living Hair Mask. It’s infused with certified organic extracts to revive your parched hair with deep, vitamin-rich hydration. It contains ingredients like cold-pressed coconut, olive fruit, jojoba, banana, agave, and avocado to help your hair grow faster, provide shine, and volume.
Amika The Kure Intense Repair Mask
I actually ran out of this hair mask. It was so good on my hair. Its an intensive hair mask. It’s going to help instantly repairs and resuscitates dry, damaged, and overstressed hair. Again another great way to revive curls if you like to straighten your hair.
Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Deep Conditioning Curl Masque
My go-to mask at the moment for when I am going to rock my hair naturally curly. It’s a deep hydrating mask and formulated to provide strength and suppleness to the hair fiber. This is going to give your hair that super soft and nourished strands. I like to use this 2x a week to give my curls some bounce.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
You only need to use this hair mask for about 10-20 minutes. It’s going to provide your hair with hydration and natural vibrancy if you have dry, brittle, over-processed, and otherwise lackluster locks. Another great mask to use when I want to rock my natural curls.

Joico K-Pack Color Therapy Luster Lock
This hair mask is great if you like to straighten your hair a lot. This helped my hair before I decided to rock my natural curls. You get stronger and healthier hair. It also protects your hair against using styling tools if you use it so much. It creates 9x more resistant from breakage.
As always these are products that have worked amazingly with my hair. What works for me may or may not work for you! It’s all about trying out products and see what works for you. I am someone who loves to rock that natural curls and straight hair. So my hair is always needing hydration.
