A few weeks ago I had received a box full of goodies from Sigma Beauty. I was so surprised because I have been wanting to work with them for a long time and I finally had my chance.
I have been testing/playing around with their products they sent me for a while now. I can honestly say they are worth the hype.
I was sent the following products –
- Standout Eyes Gel Liner (wicked)
- Winged Liner E06 brush
- Aura Powder Blush (Cor-de-Rosa)
- Power Crayon (Sigma Pink)
- Kabuki Flat Top brush F80
- Medium Sweeper brush E54
- Buff and Blend brush E39
- Eye Shading brush E55
- Spa Glove Express (not pictured review will come next week on that)
Next week I’ll be doing a review on the Sigma Spa Glove. Hopefully, post a video of me washing my makeup brushes with it.
Standout Eyes Gel Liner + E06 brush (pictured above) – I have used only drugstore gel liner but this beats all drugstore gel liner that I have used. It’s creamy, long-lasting, easy to apply, and pigmented. Use this with the E06 winged liner brush and you got yourself the perfect jet black wing on your eyes.
Aura Powder Blush in Cor-de-Rosa – The Aura Powder is a versatile all-over face powder that enhances and brings forth dimension of the face and subtly draws out natural contours. The subtle shades vary from brown to peach, to pink and perfectly enhance your skin. You can use this powder blush for blush, bronzer or to lightly warm up the skin.
I have only used this for blush and I love the color. It’s pigmented, easily to apply, comes off as a loose powder when you use your brush and long lasting as well.
Flat Kabuki brush – love using this to apply my foundation. Leaves a great finish, no streaks or patches. The brush head is dense and soft brush hairs. You can use this with liquid or cream foundations.
Medium Sweeper – perfect brush to apply eyeshadow. I use this a lot when I’m using my ColourPop Super Shock shadows. You can use this as a blending brush as well.
Buff and Blend – MY FAVORITE ONE! Love using this when I’m blending my shadows on the crease. It never disappoints me. Brush features a shorter, round dense brush head that blends colors softly, but with precision onto the lid for a diffused effect.
Eye Shading Brush – a soft and dense squared brush head with slightly rounded edges. This eye shadow brush works best for an all-over application of color to the lid with lighter shades for a base.
As a result- I love the quality of these brushes and products I was sent. The good thing about the products that they’re paraben free and cruelty-free as well as the brushes. The brushes come with a 2-year warranty on them when you purchase which is a GOOD thing because you never know what can happen and buying brushes aren’t cheap either. I do recommend these to anyone who’s looking for a good quality brushes.
