But when I decided to take the plunge and post it I realized that it’s okay to do something you’re passionate about. Confidence is something that everyone definitely struggles with but I can tell you how that all changed when I decided to be MORE confident.
How to Be Queen of Confidence
Kill the Negative Talk – This is hard to do when you’re constantly second guessing yourself when you see photos of yourself. Your brain starts to tell you things but you know what?? KILL IT! Think better of yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself “I AM BEAUTIFUL, I GOT THIS!”.
Look the Part – Go shopping, find something you like, wear it and ROCK IT!
Smile – SERIOUSLY do it and I can guarantee your confidence will rise.
Embrace Your Interest – Whether it’s cooking, makeup, DIY’s or even fashion, EMBRACE it. When you improve those interest, it builds up your confidence.
Take Risks – Nothing in life comes easy which is why taking risks is always a great way to build up your confidence.
Lastly, watch Queen of the South. If you have no idea about this show, let me give you a snip bit of the show.
Teresa Mendoza is a poor woman living in the bario of Jalisco, Mexico. She falls in love with a member of a successful drug cartel, hoping that the love will help her rise above the hopelessness she feels in her life. When that doesn’t happen, she is forced to flee the country after her boyfriend passes away. She seeks refuge in America where she teams up with another person from her past to take down the leader of the drug ring that is after her. Teresa basically builds her own empire and becomes one of the world’s wealthiest women in the process.
Watching Queen of the South, made me realize that having confidence and taking risks in life, can get you to where you want to be or what you want to do. We’re all responsible for our future and I CHALLENGE YOUR inner Teresa Mendoza to rise above your self-doubt and be more confident when it comes to doing things for yourself.
