Last week I shared with you an affordable Fourth of July look but I promise this isn’t another holiday outfit. If you guys read my post last week I purchased a few items from SheIn. If you’re unfamiliar with SheIn – it’s basically an international online shop that sells affordable clothes. I was told about this shop through my friend Steffanie from Brighter Darling and I was immediately impressed by the price of the clothes. But there’s a difference when you look at the price and the quality of the clothes.
I had ordered this shirt because I thought it was the cutest shirt ever and I don’t own any shirts like this. Plus it’s an off the shoulder top which is my favorite. BUT let me tell you about this shirt. As cute as it is, I originally loved the top but like I said after a few hours of wearing it, I had to take it off. You know when you wear a dress that is tight and you’re constricted? That’s basically what this top is like.
- The elastic on the shirt to keep the shirt from falling is SUPER TIGHT.
- I was unable to move my arms or use them. Like I couldn’t even grab a cup from the cupboard or anything.
- The shirt left marks from the elastic.
- The top is SUPER LONG. Like you can see how I untucked the back of it and it’s just long. I’m 5’2″ and this shirt is a SMALL.
When purchasing from SheIn please be careful. I would suggest reading reviews (if there are reviews on the item). The sizes are a hit or miss. Because the clothes are international, it can take a week or two to actually receive the item. I received mine a few days later from ordering but my friend Steffanie didn’t get her package until a week after I did and she ordered before me. Coffee with Summer wrote a full review on SheIn and her experience with the clothes.
With SheIn it’s really a hit or miss. I wouldn’t say don’t buy their clothes but be very careful. I guess that’s what happens when you shop online.
Have you purchased items from SheIn? What are your thoughts?
