Summer drinks are always my favorite thing about summer. There’s something about a good frozen drink on a hot summer day. If you’re like me, I love a good frozen margarita. Great way to mix your favorite fruits with tequila and blend it all together. Now before summer ends, I wanted to share with you a quick and easy fun margarita that you can make.
I use to not like tequila but growing up in my home you had an option on your 21st birthday of your first shot of alcohol. Of course, I decided to take a shot of tequila. It’s also no lie that when I use to go out on weekends, my go to shot at the bar was definitely a good shot of tequila but now that I’m getting close to my 30’s I prefer to have my tequila in a mixed drink. I can no longer handle alcohol like I use to.
I created this Mango Orange Frozen margarita and it was a hit. I love all things mango and orange drinks so why not use it as a way to make a good frozen margarita. This margarita will be the perfect drink at your next party or get together. It’s fruity and sweet. [21 years and older]Mango Orange Frozen Margarita Recipe perfect for your next party. Mango Orange Frozen Margarita
For this margarita, I did use the Agavero Orange liqueur. If you never heard of Agavero Orange liqueur, it’s a blend of 100% blue agave tequila, infused with the essence of oranges and pure agave nectar.
This orange liqueur from Agavero pairs perfectly with “Gran Centenario Plata tequila”. Which is what I used for this Mango Orange Frozen Margarita.
- 1 1/2 cups Frozen Mangos
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Gran Centenario Plate Tequila
- 1/4 cup Agavero Orange liqueur
- 2 cups ice
- 2 tbsp Honey (optional)
- lime wedges
- Place all the ingredients in the blender until it's all combined.
- While drink is mixing, rub the lime wedges around the rim of the glass and dip into salt.
- Pour drink into glass.
Let me know if you try this recipe out and how you like it!!!
