I’m so excited right now to be sharing another post for my wedding series. Brian and I are definitely getting a jump start on our planning and making sure we take our time to get the things we need for our wedding so we don’t have to worry about it last minute. First up is our Save the Date Cards. I know it’s early for our cards but to be honest we will not be sending them until September.

Brian and I have picked out our date for our wedding, our colors and we know what feel we want for our wedding. This is something we both have been talking about a lot. With our Save the Date Cards I knew I wanted something that was going to include the colors we wanted for our wedding which is NAVY & GREY. Which is why we decided to order our cards from Minted.
If you’re unfamiliar with Minted, this is where you can basically get invitations for weddings, parties, and holiday cards. But when it comes to the Minted Weddings they have SO MANY options not only for your Save the Date Cards or wedding invitations but they even have wedding decor like table numbers, favors + gifts, menus etc.
Picking Our Save the Date Cards
Minted Weddings has over 1,000 to choose from and you can easily personalize them to your liking. We decided to go with the Cottonwood Foil-Pressed cards. The reason why we selected this card is that we were able to get the navy blue color we wanted but also have the writing be in silver which matches the grey style we want. It also went well with our clothing we picked for our photo session.
A great thing about Minted is that they do everything for you, let’s say you want a certain color palette for your design, you select those colors, and they will have someone create a design using those colors. You can even customize your envelopes to have them addressed to your guests with your return address on them. My favorite part is the customizable stamps. The stamps are the perfect touch to sending the cards.
