I’m so excited to be sharing with you guys how I asked my sister and best friends to be my bridesmaids this weekend. I hosted a little brunch at my apartment and of course, we had some mimosas. Out of my 4 bridesmaids, only 1 didn’t know that she would be asked to be apart of my big day the other girls just knew LOL. So keeping that secret for a few weeks was so hard for me because I wanted to share so many things but I knew I had to wait until this weekend.
But before I tell you how I asked them when it came to selecting the girls that I wanted by my side I wanted to make sure that it was only 4 girls. I didn’t want a big wedding party. I knew that I also wanted girls that I have a true connection with, that I talk to daily and I know I will have a BLAST with on my wedding day. I was trying to find creative ways on Pinterest on how I wanted to ask my girls to be a part of my big day and I saw so many cute ideas but I wanted to keep the way I asked my girls pretty simple but things that I know they will love and use.

The Bridesmaid Proposal Gift Box
Each of my girls got personalized boxes so I could place their gifts inside. I found this cute shop on Etsy called PenAndLetter. The owner can personalize gift boxes, hangers, or gift bags. It’s all handwritten as well. Which I find super awesome because calligraphy is so cute.
What was inside the boxes?
Inside the box, the girls all got a card that said: “Will You Be My….” from WeddingPaperie Shop. Which is from the exact same place I got my Wedding Planner Notebook. It was a cute way to ask my bridesmaids if they would be apart of my wedding even though the box was pretty much a given but I had to ask to make sure.
They each received a “Blush Bridesmaid Tote” from Plum Pretty Sugar. This is perfect for the day of the wedding where they can place any of their personal items in the bag instead of carrying a backpack or something.
Personalized Stemless Glasses from Wedding Favorites was also included in the box. The glasses had their names on them so not only can they use it the day of the wedding and not get confused on who’s glass is who’s but they can also use it when they’re home as well. I really loved how these turned out.
Lastly, I included the Sunforgettable Lip Glosses with SPF from Colorescience. It was something that I knew they would all love for daily use.
