Ride or Die: Drugstore Makeup

Ride or Die: Drugstore Makeup

This post has been a long time coming. But I kept pushing it off because I wanted to make sure that I shared products that I was truly loving and constantly using. I’ve seen this on YouTube but I decided to do a post instead. I love purchasing drugstore makeup because they’re just as good as high-end makeup. If you notice that I don’t have any eyeshadows on here because I have WAY too many favorite drugstore eyeshadow palettes. So I will share that in a different post.

Primers:

Bronx Colors Pore Minimizer – This is a fairly new drugstore brand that’s available only at Ulta and I have been using this non-stop since I purchased it. It reminds me so much of the Benefits POREfessional primer. It regulates oil absorption to cover pores and control the shine. It helps refine and tighten pores within a few seconds.

Catrice Prime & Fine Beautifying Primer – If you want a luminous glow look this is a great drugstore primer to get. It’s a silky texture and light reflecting pearl pigments for an instant complexion boost. Also infused with Vitamin E.

BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Mattifying Primer – I have been loving this primer whenever I want a completely matte finish. This helps control the oils on my skin and it’s lightweight gel texture.

Foundations:

NYX Cosmetics Total Control Drop – This foundation has been my favorite foundation from NYX. I use to love their “Matte Never Flat” foundation but this one is WAY better. I always get compliments when I use this foundation. You also have complete control of the coverage you want.

Maybelline Matte + Poreless – I’m sure you guys are probably getting sick of me talking about this but I can’t help it. This foundation is BOMB. I refuse to stop using it. Especially cause it helps with my oily skin.

COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Elixir – Whenever I want to rock a glowy healthy looking skin, I definitely grab this foundation. It’s great for light, medium, and full coverage.

Concealers:

Maybelline Fit Me – I haven’t stopped using this concealer since it came out. Just like the foundation I love this formula of concealer.

Wet’n Wild Photo Focus – I really have enjoyed using this concealer. I love that I’m able to build up the coverage with this concealer without looking cakey.

NYX Cosmetics HD Concealer – Great concealer when you’re looking for a good coverage for those dark circles and it’s lightweight.

L.A. Girl HD Pro – What I love about this concealer is that it doesn’t crease, you get an amazing coverage with it and it’s long wearing.

Powders:

Catrice Primer & Fine Waterproof Mattifying Pressed Powder – I have used this in the summer and when it comes to making sure I stay matte, I depend on this. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it’s also translucent so it works on any skin tone.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Another great product for oily skin girls. Helps minimize the appearance of large pores.

Maybelline Shine Control Loose Powder – When I’m baking I love to use this loose powder. It helps with controlling the shine and it does last all day.

Bronzers:

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer – Gives you a natural looking tan without looking orange.

NYX Cosmetics Matte Bronzer – Another bronzer that gives you a natural-looking tan without looking orange and you also get a healthy complexion.

Essence Sun Club Matte Bronzer – They have changed the packaging and added the “matte” to it but it’s still the same formula. It smells like coconut and I love it.

Blushes:

Essence Satin Blush – a pigmented blush that is a glowing color and has a light pearl effect.

Physicians Formula Butter Blush – Moisturizing wonder features ultra-refined pearl and soft-focus pigments that smooth skin texture, brighten skin tone, and deliver a gorgeous blushing glow.

Makeup Revolution Blush – If I want a matte finish I definitely grab this blush. It’s very pigmented so I highly suggest being careful with it.

Highlighters:

Wet’n Wild Megaglo – Has a metallic sheen to give you a POPPIN’ highlight.

e.l.f Cosmetics Illuminating Powder – You get 4 different shades in this palette for only $6. The surprising thing is that the colors are so pigmented.

Mascara:

Catrice Glamour Doll Volume Waterproof – The wand on this mascara is perfect to get each strand of the lash. I prefer to use this on my lower lashes.

Maybelline Lash Sensational – You get two different styles of brushes in one wand. Makes my top lashes a lot thicker and volumizing.

Lipstick:

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte – Hydrating lipstick that gives you a matte finish.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Nude – long-wearing matte lipstick with a very pigmented color.

NYX Luv Out Loud – Creamy velvety matte lipstick.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour – Long-lasting liquid lipstick with a matte finish.

Eyebrow:

Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade – It’s smudge-proof, waterproof, and it’s long-lasting.

NYX Cosmetics Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade – Another product that’s also smudge-proof and waterproof. But this product can hold through humidity.

Eyes:

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner – When I first started to use gel liners I used this one and I will always continue to use it. It’s pigmented, long-lasting and creamy.

NYX Matte Liquid Liner – Whenever I want to have a matte finish on my eyes, I love using this liquid liner. The wand is easy to use as well.

e.l.f Cosmetics Liquid Liner – It’s smudge-proof and the wand it’s great when it comes to creating that wing as well.
