My hair has been a constant struggle but it’s gotten a little better by switching to all natural products. Let’s talk about my hair first. You guys know I love to either dye my hair or I like to style it. I don’t think I remember the last time I left my hair naturally curly without using a blow dryer, flat iron or curling wand. Because I use hot styling tools almost 3-4x a week, it’s caused a few breakage here and there. I KNOW! Not good at all.
But one of my favorite things to do when washing my hair is to use a hair mask. Which hair mask is that you ask? About Coco and Eve Like A Virgin Mask
Like A Virgin Mask contains raw virgin coconut oil, fig, shea butter, linseed and argan oil. Coco & Eve claims it will rejuvenate and revive parched hair that is damaged by styling, heat, dyes and the environment.
- 5-in-1 treatment
- Restores dry damaged hair
- Improves hair texture and shine
- Hydrates and deeply conditions
- Treats split ends and tames frizz
How I Applied It:
I washed my hair with shampoo ONLY. After that I brushed out my hair, parted my hair in sections and then applied small amounts into each section to ensure that the mask is all over the hair and then I just put my hair up in a clip. Wait about 10-15 minutes. I did 10 minutes. Rinse out and then brushed my hair with the cute bright pink detangling brush Coco & Eve provide to help avoid hair breakage. Once I have detangled my hair, I styled it how I normally would.
I freaking love this mask. It’s the most hydrating mask I have ever tried for my hair. After my first use, I did notice that my hair felt a lot different than it normally does when I shampoo and conditioner. It smells so good, like tropical. I wish you could smell it from my computer. So so so good. I have noticed also that my hair does look shinier after using the mask.
If you’re someone that suffers dry, damaged hair. I highly recommend giving this mask a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I will continue to use this once a week since it’s not a conditioner but a mask.
