What a weekend! If you saw on my Instagram Stories, Kelsie and I had a girls day this weekend at Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison. It was definitely much needed because I haven’t done a girls day in a long time. Having that time with your friends is seriously important.
If you’re ever in Madison, you definitely need to stop at the Hilldale Shopping Center. They have everything you can possibly need or do when you’re having a girls day. So many cute stores, food and beauty stores. When it comes to planning a girls day, it doesn’t have to be super fancy or anything. My kind of girls day can be a lunch, shopping, or even hanging out. But Kelsie and I decided to do a few things on Saturday like get a manicure, grab some lunch and of course stop at one of our favorite stores.
We both decided to get SNS (Dipped Nails) on our nails, which personally I think it’s a lot better on your nails vs gel or shellac. I will say that this nail boutique is by far the cutest I’ve been to. It’s sleek and chic. I loved the marble tables, the comfy black seats and the service was amazing. I was impressed by dipped my nails because this was my first time ever getting dipped on my real nails. Fun fact: I use to get fake nails.

Y’all know I love me some bath bombs so of course, we had to stop at Lush to get a few bath bombs, actually, I got them for my boys. My boys freaking love using bath bombs so I got these cute “fidget spinner” bath bombs. Which was perfect for them because they do have a few fidget spinners at home. Besides bath bombs, I do have a favorite product from Lush which is their Sleepy Body Lotion. I love using this right after I shower at night before going to bed. Really helps with ensuring your body is relaxed before bed.
Like I said earlier, Hilldale does have great clothing stores, for example, Free People. Although, I don’t really shop here. I do like a few of their items. There was a few I wanted but I couldn’t see myself spending that amount of money. But it’s always fun to have your friend with you to do a little try-on sesh.
After Kelsie and I did some walking around at Hilldale, we decided to stop at Bowl of Heaven. We’ve never been there before. When I shared this delicious bowl of goodness on my Instastories, I got many questions about what this place was called. Well, it’s called Bowl of Heaven, it’s a smoothie place. I got the “Sunset Bowl” which had mangos, kiwi, strawberries, coconut flakes, honey, granola, hemp flax seeds and coconut milk. Talk about deliciousness in your mouth. This was my first time here and I am definitely coming back with Brian.
Kelsie and I had so much fun on Saturday, even though it was chilly and windy we still made it adventurous and fun. I mean that’s what Girls Day is all about right? Be sure to check out Kelsie’s post.
