I’ve worked with COVERGIRL a few times now and when they sent me their NEW Vitalist Healthy Glow collection, I was so excited to try them out. I LOVE their Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation. I actually enjoy using it so much in the winter months when my skin is dry or in the summer for a very glowy look. COVERGIRL is such a budget-friendly drugstore brand. The new collection contains setting spray, highlighter, lip oil, concealer, and glow luminizing lotion.
COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Glow Collection
Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighter – These highlighters come in 6 different shades: candlelit, moonbeam, starshine, sundown, daybreak, and sun-kissed. You’re able to use this highlighter to contour and illuminate your features. It’s designed to give your skin a healthy looking natural glow. I received 2 of these Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighters which were Starshine (No.2) and Daybreak (No.6).
Starshine is a light gold shade and Daybreak is a bit darker gold shade. The formula of the highlighters is creamy but with a mousse texture. It blends well with your finger and not with a brush.
Vitalist Healthy Elixir Lip Oil – According to COVERGIRL their lip oil nourishes your lips without feeling sticky, tacky and comfortable to wear. It’s meant for everyday wear while providing hydration on the lips. The lip oil is VERY sheer in my opinion. They come in 6 different shades and I received the shades Melon Granita which gives you a light pink shade and Cherry Crush gives you that cherry popsicle tint. They do come in 6 different shades.
Personally, for me, I’m not a fan of these.
Vitalist Healthy Cream Concealer – The concealers are not a full coverage concealer. It’s meant to give you of a natural coverage. It brightens your complexion to give you a fresh healthy looking skin. The formula is infused with vitamins and the pen has a soft brush applicator to smooth and improve skin textures. The concealers do come in 6 different shades.
Vitalist Go Glow Luminizing Lotion – The name speaks for the product. It’s literally a lotion for your face that gives you a glowy look. Personally, I can’t use this because I am oily so this just looks like a hot mess on me. But I can definitely see someone who has dry skin using it for hydration. The Go Glow Lumizing lotion does contain vitamins E, B3, and B5. It’s infused with light-reflecting glotion pigments to give your skin a naturally luminous glow.
Top to Bottom: Starshine & Daybreak (Highlighters) // #785 & #800 (Concealers) // Cherry Crush & Melon Granita (Lip Oil)
Look Lock Up Setting Spray – Designed with a micro-fine mist for a weightless, barely-there feel, our setting spray prevents makeup from smudging or settling into fine lines. If you’re someone with sensitive skin, keep in mind that the setting spray does contain fragrance.
I would prefer that it was a mattifying setting spray. I am oily so it didn’t do much for keeping my makeup matte. Overall I definitely like the highlighter and concealer. Not a huge fan of the lip oil, luminizing lotion or the setting spray. So I was a bit disappointed by those products.
