Who here loves a good highlighter? I sure do. Especially when it comes to high-end highlighters. But as someone who is a frugal shopper, I do love a good drugstore highlighter as well. I have tested many drugstore highlighters. When I was decluttering my makeup couple weeks ago, I realized that these are the only 7 drugstore highlighters I love and use so much.
Ride or Die: 7 Drugstore Highlighters
Top to Bottom: Makeup Revolution // Wet’n Wild // Physicians Formula // NYX Cosmetics
Makeup Revolution // I Heart Revolution Blushing Heart (Golden Goddess) – I’ve had this since last fall and I bought it at Ulta. I wanted to see how good these highlighters were because I remember seeing it on YouTube. First off, I love the packaging of it. It’s so cute. The color is so pigmented so little goes a long way. Sadly Ulta no longer sells it, so you would have to go to their direct site to purchase.
Wet’n Wild // MegaGlo (Precious Petal) – People were raving about this highlighter which is why I purchased it and I know why they were raving about it so much. The highlighter looks wet on your skin, it’s pigmented and it’s reasonably priced! It has a metallic sheen to it which is why I think it gives a wet look.
Physicians Formula // Butter Highlighter – I have all 4 shades in the Butter Highlighter and I am obsessed with their Rose Gold. It’s seriously so buttery, pigmented and gives that wet look as well. If you haven’t tried this, you are missing out. It’s infused with Infused with a powerful blend of Murumuru Butter, Capuacu Butter, and Tucuma Butter.
NYX Cosmetics // Illuminator – If you’re not a fan of intense highlighters, the NYX Illuminator gives a radiant shimmer, it diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.
Pixi + Dulce Candy // Café con Dulce – I love how versatile this palette is. Not only can it work as a highlighter but also as a shimmer for your eyelids or add a touch of blush on the cheeks. I personally love to use the first top 3 shades as a highlighter. So pigmented and creamy.
Revlon // Photoready Highlighting (Sunlit Dream) – I was surprised by how pigmented this palette was when I received it. I love how well it works with my skin complexion.
Profusion Cosmetics // Highlight & Contour – This palette contains 5 highlighting shades ranging from gold, pink, bronze and rose gold. It also includes 1 bronzer. I only use this palette for the highlighters since the bronzer shade is too light for me. The highlighting shades are pigmented.
