  1. Slow clap for the affiliate link disclosure! I’d love to know how you find great, interactive Tailwind tribes – I’ve had mixed success with these, but I see so many people raving about them.

  2. I need to be better about using alt text for images. Sometimes it’s easy for me to forget. Also I was terrible about SEO in the beginning and now I’m going back and adding it. I notice such a difference!

  3. Great tips. I don’t have categories set up yet, eek. I only have 5 posts so far but now I will do this. I also joined one of the FB groups you recommended. Thanks

  4. The featured image is so important! I need to be better about keeping that in mind when I’m shooting, because I’m always trying to piece it together after.

  5. So many great tips! Blogging has changed so much in the 7+ years I’ve been doing it – I wish all of these resources were out when I first started! Going back to update things seems so daunting!

  6. I love these tips! As a new blogger, this was a super helpful read to me! And I love your sharing is caring widget at the bottom of your post. Do you mind sharing if that’s from a plugin? I’m looking for something that does that. Thank you!

  7. Thank you for this post. It opened my eyes to a lot of areas my blog has been falling short on. I often neglect categories and tags, pay little attention to backlinks, and I dont have a good understanding of what permalink are. These areas I need to work on. Great post! <3

  8. These are all great tips! I personally LOVE editing, and always edit a post a few times before finally hitting ‘publish’. I’m personally not a huge fan of the way featured images look on my blog theme, but I didn’t know that’s what dictates which image will pop up when you share a blog post link, so I’ll have to keep that in mind!

  9. This is SO helpful! Even though I’ve been blogging for a while now, I still learn new things every time I read these posts. Thanks for the FB group suggestions!!

  10. Great advice. I’m trying to do more with SEO – I feel like I’ve learned a lot about Pinterest and am successful there, but that’s one thing that’s still escaping me!

  11. These are great ways to improve any blog. I love the idea of adding pictures but I think that since I have ads pictures become too much. I’m not sure tho lol.
