I have been playing with and testing out the NEW bareMinerals BarePro Foundation for a few months now. I received this in a PR package sometime in November I believe. And I was excited to try this out because I have never used any of the bareMinerals products before. I’ve heard great things about the brand but I had to see for myself how good it really was.
When I first heard about bareMinerals, their products were just powders. Powder foundation, blush, bronzer, concealers, etc.. So when they came out with the liquid foundation I was pretty excited because I don’t like to use powder foundations or concealers. I prefer liquid or creams and they do have to be mattifying because of my oily skin.
bareMinerals BarePro Foundation
The bareMinerals BarePro Foundation the brands first mattifying foundation. It’s also their first natural foundation that gives you a 24-hour long wear. The foundation also blurs out your pores and imperfections while improving the appearance of skin texture over time.
bareMinerals BarePro Foundation comes in 30 different foundation shades to ensure that you find the one that matches your skin tone. I was sent 4 different foundations.
I tend to get light in the winter months compared to the summer months, so when I tested out these foundations I knew that I wasn’t able to use them in the summer months because they would be too light.
Warm Natural #12 – Light to medium skin with neutral undertones.
Golden Nude #13 – Light to medium skin with neutral to warm undertones.
Sandstone #16 – Medium skin with neutral to warm undertones.
Camel #17 – Medium to tan skin with warm undertones.
The two foundations that worked pretty well with my skin was Sandstone and Camel. Only because I’m able to darken it up with some powder. I have used the other foundations on one of my wedding parties and they immediately asked what foundation I used on them cause they loved the natural finish it gave but it also provided some coverage.
Before & After + Overall Thought
As you can tell you it does give a good coverage on your skin, it also hides your imperfections. I have big pores and you can’t even see them. Which is awesome. Another thing I do love about this foundation is that it’s super lightweight. I can’t even feel it on my skin at all. I would definitely purchase this foundation in a darker shade for the summer months. The foundation retails for $34 and you can find it at Ulta.
