Beauty Favorites | April

Another month has gone! But to be honest, this was the longest month ever since we’ve been in quarantine. I’m over it. I think I’ve worn more makeup while in quarantine than have before. Which I’m not mad about it. Just a great feeling to get myself ready for the day. Speaking of makeup, last month I never shared my beauty favorites. Probably because I was adjusting to the new routine of being a teacher to my boys and fitting my work in this new schedule.

Grande Cosmetics Mascara

I haven’t stopped using this mascara since I received it in my January Boxycharm. I love that the mascara has castor oil so it’s easier to remove from my lashes but also good for lash growth. It’s in my Ulta cart right now to repurchase it. It’s not waterproof. I have noticed that my lashes are a bit longer. I would use their lash growth serum but I tried it out and I got a reaction.

KISS Blowout Lashes

As you can see I’ve gone through 3 lashes in the last 4 months because I’ve worn these lashes so many times. I love how natural but glam they look. They’re lightweight as well.

Tula Primer

I was sent this primer by Tula like 3 weeks ago I want to say, and I have loved it. It gives your skin this beautiful smooth canvas. It’s not silicone at all and makes your makeup last all day. Definitely worth the purchase. [Use code: JASMINEMARIA for 15% OFF on Tula.com]

Drunk Elephant Makeup Melter

I have given up on using makeup removing wipes (it’s not good for your skin) so using a makeup melter is amazing especially on the waterproof mascara. I love that it easily removes my makeup from my skin. I do love using it with my makeup eraser towel.

Avene Cold Cream Lip Balm (ANEU Med Spa)

My favorite lip balm. I got this lip balm after I got my lip fillers done in January. It provides hydration but also makes your lips feel so smooth. I use this under my matte lipsticks and every night before I go to bed.

Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Cleansing Oil

Since I’m trying to embrace my natural curls this season, I decided to give the Curl Talk collection from Not Your Mother’s a try. I’m happy I did. This cleansing oil makes your scalp feel like it got a deep cleaning. The best part is that it removes any buildup on your scalp. It contains Amazonian White Clay and peppermint oil that works together to gently exfoliate and invigorate your hair & scalp, and Superfood Oil blend helps replenish vital moisture.

Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Gel

If you have curly hair, I highly recommend this gel. It doesn’t make your hair feel hard like some gel products do. My curls are still bouncy and soft after using the Curl Talk Gel. It also helps with frizz. It contains Rice Curl Complex-a blend of rice, keratin amino acids, and enzymes to help hydrate, condition, protect and enhance your curl.
