Who here has had those nights where they just can’t sleep? Especially if you’re a mom with a baby. Let me tell you that I get a lot of nights where I can’t sleep because my mind is racing or my husband is snoring so loud. Lack of sleep causes dark circles, puffy eyes, and even wrinkles. I’ve been testing out eye creams for a while now and I know which eye creams work. These eye creams help with depuffing, dark circles, and even wrinkles. I am going to share with you a few of my favorites and a few tips that have helped.
Why It’s Important to Use An Eye Cream
Eye creams help reduce or even erase signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles. Did you know that fine lines and wrinkles come from both sun damage and your skin making less collagen as you age? This is why I add collagen powder to my drinks. Studies have shown that Vitamin C, peptides, and retinol have boosted collagen production. Ceramide and hyaluronic acid also help.
Now let’s jump into my favorite eye creams that’s been helping my dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles and of course puffiness.

ELEMIS Peptide 4 Eye Recovery – This eye cream was the first eye cream that I ever used. It revives, brightens and hydrates my eyes. This eye cream is a skin synchronizing eye cream that is going to help revive and restore the appearance of tired and overworked eyes. The peptide 4 in this eye cream helps support your skin’s natural processes to give you that refreshed look.
Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm – I bought this a few months ago from Ulta because I saw a lot of people rave about it and I immediately got hooked. I was so happy with the product. I love to use this in the morning right before I apply my makeup. This balm helps hydrate, cool and brighten yours under eyes. [Save 15% on Tula’s Website using code: JASMINEMARIA]
Bliss Eye Do All Things Eye Gel – Another cooling eye gel but the best part is the rollerball on it that works so good to massage the product under your eyes and increase circulation. It contains caffeine, peptides, and plant stem cells to help smooth and firm your eyes. This will also reduce the appearance of puffy and tired eyes.
GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES™ Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream – You guys know I love anything from GLAMGLOW. I’ve been talking about this brand for a while now. I love this eye cream. It helps with dark circles by brightening up the under eyes. This product is lightweight compared to the other creams I’m mentioning in this post.
Erno Laszlo Multi-Task Eye Gel Cream – This product is a cream and serum mixed. It is pricey and I think its a great investment. I was hesitant about this product but this one is apart of my nighttime routine at the moment. The eye gel cream contains an algae complex that’s been extracted from chlorophyll-rich blue-green algae that helps with anti-aging and nourishing agents that will visibly firm, soothe and tone the eyes.
Callyssee Doppio Firming Eye Cream – I’ve mentioned this product before on here. I have this one in my bathroom for the mornings when I don’t want to wear makeup. It’s so lightweight and helps give your skin around the eyes a firmer and more lifted look. It also helps accelerate collagen products to your skin’s natural support structure.
Here’s a tip for you! Place your eye creams in the fridge. When the product is cold and you apply it to your eyes, it’s going to help depuff your eyes, give you a refreshing look but also boost blood circulation. You should also use a jade roller. Place that in the fridge as well. When you apply the eye cream and massage your under eyes with the jade roller to help with fine lines and wrinkles. I am linking a few jade rollers.
