Hope you all had a good 4th of July. We definitely did. We spent time with my family at the pool, cooked out and then, of course, did some fireworks. It was a great way to spend the holiday. One of the things about summer that I am not a huge fan of is sun damage. I take pride in making sure that I am wearing sunscreen when I’m either wearing makeup or not. Sun protection is important to ensure you don’t get sun damage, sun spots or skin cancer.

Best Face Products That Contain SPF
In today’s post, I am going to share with you a few of my favorite face products that contain SPF. It’s either moisturizer, primer, or setting spray. Although I don’t recommend using products for special events where you’re going to be photographed because it does give flashbacks, it’s still important to wear it.
First I am going to share with you my favorite moisturizers that do contain SPF.
Coola Face Sunscreen – This sunscreen is organic and unscented. I remember using this for the first time last year when I went on my vacation to the Bahamas. It’s so lightweight so it didn’t feel thick at all. I love that you can use this on its own or under your makeup.
Clinique Even Better – Contains no oils which are a plus for me since I have oily skin in the summer. It has specialized ingredients that break apart surface darkening, exfoliating it away.
Coola Mineral Face Matte Tint – Looking to rock just a tinted moisturizer but that contains SPF this is the one for you. I love that it’s matte so I don’t have to worry about feeling oily throughout the day. It’s great to apply under makeup. This is a sheer, mattifying formula delivers lightweight hydration, helps reduce shine, and gives your skin a fresh-looking hint of coverage.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer – I’m a huge fan of Aveeno. It was one of the brands that I noticed that worked amazingly with my skin because I have sensitive skin. Great to use on your own or under your makeup because it’s also lightweight.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream – You guys know I love this luxury skincare brand. I have been using their Pro-Collagen Marine for a long time and when I saw they had an SPF was perfect to add to my daytime routine. Lightweight, not greasy and works with your makeup all day.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer – This moisturizer doesn’t clog your pores. Which is amazing because clogged pores cause breakouts. It contains colloidal oatmeal, along with butter and oils that help nourish, hydrate and soothe your skin.
Supergoop Smooth & Poreless 100% Mineral Matte Screen – I actually use this primer a lot in the summer. I love how it covers up my pores but it’s also mattifying so I stay dry all day.
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen – It’s just like the Mineral Matte Screen but it’s meant for those with dry or normal skin. I’ve tried both but the Matte is more my preference.
Coola Daydream Mineral Makeup Primer Sunscreen – Lightweight and not greasy at all. A photo-reflective appearance blurs fine lines, evens out skin tones and minimizes pores to create a smooth finish when used alone.
elf Cosmetics Beauty Shield – I was shocked to see that elf Cosmetics had a primer with SPF. This primer contains antioxidants that fight against everyday environmental aggressors. It’s a lightweight base helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles leaving your skin ready for makeup application.
elf Cosmetics Illuminating Moisturizer – I added this to my primer list because it works as a primer as well. If you’re looking to have a glowy look but also protect yourself from the sun, this is it.
Alright, lastly another great option when wearing makeup is a setting spray. Thankfully, Coola Makeup Setting Spray is seriously the best thing ever for the summer. Especially if you’re someone that loves to wear makeup and will be spending your time outside.
Oh my gosh, your site is gorgeous and this is super helpful. I really liked the tinted version of the Coola mineral sunscreen, but unfortunately they never had a color light enough for my skin! lol I’m super pale. The last time I tried Supergoop, it left my face too white (maybe I used too much?) so I wasn’t in love with it. I’m going to try Clinique – they’ve always been good for my skin! Thank you!
Love that you highlighted primers on here too! I’ve been wanting to try some more ELF face products and am going to look for those.

Gotta remember these products! That setting spray you mentioned at the end sounds great. I know I need more SPF in my life!
Thanks for sharing this with the world. It’s so important to take care of our skin. A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with skin cancer, so please never think that it won’t happen to you. It could happen to any of us, so we need to take care of ourselves. I always try to use products with SPF. Clinique, CeraVe and Neutrogena are my favorite brands.

Coola is the BEST! I am going to check out the others too! I’m a fanatic of SPF and taking care of my skin so looking at products that include SPF!
I have heard great things about Coola and I want to try their products. They sell them at my gym’s spa/salon and I always see some products.
I love that you recommend affordable products. I really need to be better about protecting my skin, especially because I live in the desert!
All of these products sound amazing. I try to use spf everyday, definitely need to try some of these out!

I was just thinking how I forgot to put sunscreen on today! Such an important product that people should incorporate into their skincare regime!
I love Coola products! And having SPF is so important. I’ve been including it in my routine since I was a teen (and I’m now in my 40’s!).
This is such a great round up! I am a HUGE advocate of SPF, especially in the summer months.
everyone ravesss about Coola! I don’t love Supergoop’s ingredient list always, but do love how their products feel on my skin!
I have heard so many awesome things about COOLA products! Definitely going to try them out! I use the iT Cosmetics CC cream and absolutely love it!
I swear by Supergoop sunscreen and also would like to add Missha sunscreen which is a K-beauty brand! These are all great recommendations though!
I love that you gave so many different options. I think of SPF moisturizers, but never realized I could do it in a primer, too!
Have you tried the COOLA sunsilk drops? It’s my fave product they do, it’s a really nice primer!
This would’ve come in handy for me the other day. I had a friend ask me which SPF products to buy and I was clueless! I usually wear a full-face of makeup, and all my foundations and moisturizers have SPF in them, so I don’t think twice about skincare specifically with SPF in it. Thanks for these recommendations!
Ahhh thank you for sharing these Jasmine! I’ve had my eye on the Supergoop and Coola products for a while now! I think I just need to get them!
I NEED a new SPF primer! Thanks for this, I was going to google it haha.
Thank you so much. The heat here in India is so harsh. I needed a good sunscreen to go out for work. I will check out coola.
I am the worst when it comes to SPF! Definitely need to look into a few of these and see what works for me.
I love the Aveeno moisturizer and Super Goop! I recently tried Ren Skincare sunscreen and love it. Thank you for sharing 🙂
