Bristles Beauty Makeup Brushes

Makeup brushes are essential when it comes to doing makeup. I personally am a believer that you shouldn’t use your fingers when applying makeup, especially on your face. One of the perks of being a beauty guru and makeup artist is that I love to test out makeup brushes and see what brushes work best and are of great quality.

I was recently sent a set of makeup brushes by Bristles Beauty. Never heard of them? Well, they’re a brand new company that is female-owned by a mother/daughter duo. Bristles Beauty is based out of Ontario, Canada. For the owners Bri & Nie, they wanted to put together the highest quality, luxury brushes but making it fairly priced, unlike other brands. Their brushes are hand-crafted in an 80-step process. Meaning no machines are used.

I think it’s amazing that they create these brushes solely by hand. The bristles are also so soft because they don’t cut the tips of the brushes off to form the shape, instead, they are hand-formed using a custom mold. Honestly, these brushes are so soft and I love using them.

Eyeshadow Blending Brush (E01) – is a dome-shaped brush that is perfect for blending on small to medium areas, like across the eyelids and cheekbones. Love using this when applying a transition shade on my eye crease.

Detailed Pencil Eye Brush (E05) – this pencil-shaped eye shadow brush is the perfect size to pinpoint where you need to add little details. Personally for me, love to use this when applying shadow on my inner corners or bottom eyelid.

Eyeshadow Crease Brush (E03) – Great when trying to add definition to my crease with a darker shade.

Eyeshadow Smudging Brush (E04) – When trying to create that smokey eye, this brush is great when smudging the eyeshadow or even eyeliner on your eyelid.

Eyeshadow Brush (E02) – An amazing brush when applying eyeshadow to your eyelids or you can even use it when applying eyeshadow to your crease as well.

Precision Cut-Crease and Concealer Brush (P06) – this brush is perfect for either highlighting your brow bone, cutting the crease when using a concealer, or adding shimmer to the inner corner of your eyelid.

Eyeliner Brush (P07) – This brush is really good when using gel eyeliner. It’s easy to use as well.

Highlight & Contour Face Brush (F08) – personally for me, I love using this brush to contour my face.
