Bye to Bottled Water, Hello Brita Filtering Bottle

I have a confession. We buy bottles of water at home. I know, I know it’s terrible for the environment. But I only do it because I don’t like to drink water straight from the sink. I’ve always thought that water was gross-tasting! I knew that I had to make some changes. I recently came across the Brita Filtering Bottles and decided to purchase it from my local Target store.

Using the Brita filtering water bottle replace 1,800 plastic water bottles a year. Which is AMAZING. Did you know that by 2050 there’s going to be more plastic than fish in the ocean? That breaks my heart. Which is why I knew I had to make a change at home. I am saying goodbye to the plastic water bottles.

Brita’s Filtering Bottle has been a game-changer for me. I was shocked when I drank the water from the bottle and realized how better the water tasted and it was straight from my sink. I even made Brian take a sip since he drinks water from the sink. He too noticed a difference.

How does the filter work? The water gets filtered as you drink through the straw. The filter water bottle is durable, BPA-free and reduces chlorine taste and odor. Hence as to why I immediately thought that the water tasted so much better.

I love that water bottle is a 26oz bottle and comes in 6 different colors. I definitely plan to purchase 3 more so my boys and Brian have one. These sleek 26 Ounce Brita Filtering Bottles are cup holder friendly. A bottle costs around $20, which to me is not a bad price when you’re replacing 1,800 plastic water bottles a year.

Whoaaaa what a cool product to have handy. I use a Brita pitcher to always have cold, filtered water handy. But I love the idea of an actual bottle!

  3. Props to you for making the swap to a reusable water bottle! I’ve been trying to make more switches away from reusable plastics in my day to day too. I recently bought some reusable paper towels, and I love them!

  5. Love this Brita water bottle, Jasmine–such a great idea! I avoid drinking out of plastic as much as possible because of the harmful chemicals that leach out. We use a Brita pitcher, and it makes the water taste so much better!

Okay, I need to check this water bottle out! We are bad about buying plastic water bottles since I’m not a fan of our city water at all. Plus, water bottles make it easier to drink from.
