One of our favorite things to do in the summer is spending our days either at the pool or waterpark. It’s such a great way to have fun, stay cool but to also spend that time with each other. In the summer, I don’t have my boys as often as I would like. So when I do have that time with them I like to make sure we are doing something I know they’re going to love and remember.

Since this was my first time traveling, I really wasn’t sure what skincare and makeup products I wanted to bring. When I was going through my makeup products I wanted to make sure I was packing products that were travel-friendly and things I wouldn’t be too worried about getting damaged during the flight. Thankfully NONE of that happened. I did have two cosmetics bags one from Elemis and the other is from Bella & Bear Floral Makeup Bag.

I first traveled to NOLA during my sophomore year of college for a religion class based on Voodoo.
Solo travel. When I heard those words my first thought was: I want to do that. Can I do that? Traveling solo is something a lot of people are interested in doing, but they might have the same question I did. Can I do it? The answer is yes. Yes, you can! My first (and so far only, but I need to change that) experience traveling on my own was one of my favorites. I loved being able to explore a new city on my own, to be able to change my plans on a whim, and to take time to reflect on my experiences—and my life—without feeling like I was being anti-social. It also gave me complete control over everything I did while I was gone. If you have an interest in solo travel, here are some tips to help you out before and during your trip!
Hey, gals! I’m Keighla, a blogger over at A La Keighla, a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog. I must say that I always have the bug to travel, and I always find myself writing about it. Especially during the late winter months, I find myself daydreaming about my next destination, which is usually somewhere tropical to escape the snowy weather here in NYC. That’s why I wanted to share with you five destinations to consider for a spring break trip!
