Our Christmas Tree Farm Family Photos

I’m so excited to be sharing with you guys our Christmas tree farm family photos we did at Jensen’s Tree Farm. I decided to get these done since we’ve never done them and it was perfect to start the holidays by getting the photos done as a family. On top of that, we didn’t know how many more years we would have with my oldest dog Bones. He’s going to be 12 years old and he’s already slowing down. We wanted to make sure we had photos with him and of him.

We used Amy Lynn Creatives to do our photos. She does an amazing job with these types of shoots. Plus I trusted her since she’s done photos for me previously. She’s so easy and quick and I loved that she too has the patience to deal with kids and dogs. Because this was my first year coordinating family photos, I wanted to make sure that I was able to match the dogs and the boys. And what I mean by that, is the boys wearing the same sweaters and the dogs wearing the same style as well. I found this cute hoodie for Bones and sweater dress for Hazel and we picked the colors we were going to wear based on that.

Because the dogs had a gray sweater with red buffalo plaid I wanted to make sure that the boys had at least a red sweater and Brian had a gray sweater. I originally had a black sweater but it was way too big and slouchy so I decided to wear the white instead. Which is fine because mama wanted to stand out. I found a good dupe for the goodnight macaroon over the knee boots that cost $164 for under $50. But they’re not snow proof. My feet were soaked after our photo session. But I guess most of these boots aren’t snow proof.

We’ve already ordered our Christmas cards and we can’t wait to send them out to our closest friends & family.
