COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skin Collection

Happy Friday! I hope you’re all having a good week so far. I am so excited for the weekend because we are having spring weather. Honestly ready for the warm weather which I never say but this winter has been brutal. Speaking of spring weather, today’s blog post is a great way to start transitioning into spring makeup. I was recently sent the COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skin Collection. I will say I was hesistant about this because I have never tried any clean brands before.

I’m not one of those people who’s going to switch to clean products but will try and incorporate if I want to. When COVERGIRL sent me this collection, I was worried about the foundation. It’s a dewy finish and as someone who has the combination to oily skin, I didn’t know how this would work. But I tried it out.

COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skin Collection

Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation

This foundation is meant to show your healthy skin. It gives a natural lightweight finish, it’s definitely dewy but you can definitely set it the foundation with powder (at least I did). The Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation is formulated without formaldehyde, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, and talc. It contains coconut milk and soothing aloe to help your skin with moisture.

Definitely recommend this to someone who has dry skin. But if you’re someone that has combination to oily skin, I recommend using a mattifying primer and setting the foundation with powder + setting spray. This will help control your oils, keeping you somewhat matte while giving you a glowy finish. Foundation comes in 12 shades and 100% vegan foundation.

Clean Fresh Cooling Glow Stick

I was shocked when I applied this glow stick to my cheekbones because it literally gives this cooling sensation. I can see myself using this in the summer a lot. It can be used on the cheeks, lips, or eyelids. The Clean Fresh Cooling Glow Stick is formulated without formaldehyde, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, and talc. It comes in four different shades.

Clean Fresh Cream Blush

I’ve never been a fan of cream blushes. But this cream blush is actually super nice. I love how it blended on the skin. The colors are pigmented but not so intense. It gives this beautiful flushed skin. It’s infused with hyaluronic acid for a dewy finish and extra plump where you need it. Clean Fresh Cream Blush is formulated without formaldehyde, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, and talc. It comes in 4 different shades.

Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Oil

By far one of my favorite tinted lip oils. At first, I thought the colors were going to be intense but it wasn’t. As you can see in the photo above. I am wearing the shade “Swipe Ripe”. The color shows pink but it’s not. I am bummed that this product is only sold at CVS stores. It comes in 6 different shades. It provides hydration on the lips since it’s infused with coconut and pomegranate oils plus vitamin E for deep conditioning. You do get 6-hour wear from the tinted lip oil.
