I feel like I haven’t really made too many switches when it comes to the color of lipstick from winter to spring. I have been rockin’ the same nude but of course in a variety of nude shades. As much as I love the pretty pinks and bright lip colors, I am just really not into it this year. I definitely prefer more of a nude color. One thing I have been adding to my everyday lipstick is a little bit of gloss.
For some odd reason, my lips are still dry from winter. Normally my lips are not dry in the warmer months. I have been drinking a lot more water to help but I have noticed that a little bit of gloss here and there versus rockin’ a matte lipstick all the time has helped a ton. Now when it comes to my current everyday lipsticks these are lipsticks that I’m constantly gravitating towards. Even though I have SO MANY lipsticks lol.

Current Everyday Lipsticks
Revlon ColorStay Satin Ink Liquid Lipstick – This is by far one of my go-to lipsticks at the moment. I shared it on my Target Beauty Favorites Part 1 Reels. It’s a hydrating and long-lasting lipstick. The lipstick contains black currant seed oil and vitamin E. Although color comes off when you eat and drink, it’s actually still on. It may not be as shiny the first time you applied it but it leaves a pretty tint color on the lips.
Julep It’s Whipped Oh La La Matte Lipstick – This lipstick is so lightweight. Half the time I can’t tell I have it on. It contains rosehip seed oil which is going to help soothe and repair lips. I honestly need to get more shades because it’s one of my favorite lipsticks.
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer – I normally don’t like a gloss but here I am. As I mentioned before my lips have been dried lately so a gloss has been amazing on my lips. I have the shade Shimmering Rose Nude it’s perfect for enhancing my natural lip color. It’s not sticky at all.
City Beauty City Lips (Matte) – Pink Taupe (first lip swatch) is my favorite lip color. It’s plumping on the lips but a long-lasting waterproof lipstick. Be careful on adding more than 1 layer though, otherwise, it’s going to be extremely matte and it will crack. At the moment they only have 3 shades but I hope they come out with more.
NYX Soft Matte Lipstick – I love how lightweight but pigmented the lip colors are. I have 6 different shades. It’s comfortable on the lips, not too dry, but it’s not long-lasting.
Hopefully, if you try these out you let me know your thoughts.
