It’s been a while since I’ve shared my current makeup routine. Lately, my makeup routine has been very minimal. Especially since I have nowhere to go. Because my makeup has been very minimal. Especially for moms that are looking for an easy makeup routine. Now my easy makeup routine may take me anywhere between 20-25 mins.
With my makeup routine being very minimal, this means my eye makeup is also very minimal. I literally use 4 shades as you will see in the tutorial. The products I am sharing have been go-to for the past 1.5 months.

Primers – With it being winter my face primers have consisted of 2 different primers because I have combination skin right now. The first being the Tarte Cosmetics Poreless Primer. This primer gets applied in the oily parts of my face so my nose, t-zone area, and cheeks. It also helps blur out my pores. The next primer I use which gets applied to the rest of my face is the Tula Smoothing Gel Primer. This primer is hydrating on the skin. It also smooths the skin’s texture a little bit and it will brighten it too.
Lastly, for primer, I’ve been using the Pretty Vulgar Eyeshadow Primer. This helps with eyeshadow staying in place and not budging at all.
Foundation + Concealer – I have been loving the Too Faced Born This Way Matte Foundation. The original foundation I do like but not love. It made my skin look very glowy/dewy and as much as I love a good glowy look, the foundation didn’t work. I was happy when Too Faced came out with a matte version. The coverage is medium which I love when it comes to foundation. For concealer, I haven’t stopped using the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer. It’s a full coverage concealer for sure but the best part is that it’s not cakey or thick feeling.
Powder – The one I have been using for the past 6 month-ish is the Dermablend Loose Setting Powder. Although it’s a translucent powder, you want to be careful with it. Definitely do not recommend baking with it as I have noticed it does leave a small white cast. Definitely apply the powder lightly all over the face.
Bronzer + Contour – My favorite part of makeup because it brings some warmth back onto my skin. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer is by far my holy grail bronzer. It’s so pigmented and the bronzer doesn’t make you look orange at all. For the contour, I love using the J.Cat Beauty Symphony Face Palette. I only use the 1 dark bronzer in that shade to contour my cheeks.
Blush + Highlight – When it comes to blush, I have been using the Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay Matte in Exposed. This shade is so beautiful. It looks cool tone in person but it doesn’t come off as a cool tone on the cheeks. Now for highlight, I have been using my holy grail Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighter. This highlighter is SO GOOD! Especially for a drugstore.
Eyes – Now let’s talk about the eyeshadow palette I have been using. I find this palette to be very versatile and perfect for everyday wear. That palette is the Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette in Bloom 2. This palette contains shimmers and matte shades. I highly recommend it. For mascara, I have been using the Lash Food Mascara Primer + Lancome Idole Mascara.

For the brows and lips, I did use the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil and NARS Velvet Matte Lip Crayon. I normally switch out the lip and brow products. I have way too many favorite lipsticks at the moment.
