You guys I think I found my go-to foundation. Seriously! It is a high-end foundation. I purchased the Dior Backstage Face & Body foundation because I wanted to see if it was worth the money. And let me tell you, it is. When it comes to foundation, I want it to feel light, give me some coverage and be able to last throughout the day when it comes to my combination skin.
Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation Review
Let’s talk about the foundation and what the brand claims it does.
Dior Backstage Face & Body is a foundation for your face and body. It has a wide range of shades with a natural finish and medium buildable coverage that’s waterproof and sweat-resistant. This foundation is suitable for all skin types. The lightweight, waterproof formula resists workout sessions, high temperatures, and humidity, while the pigments create a smooth and natural look. It can also be used to camouflage minor imperfections on the neck, shoulders, legs, or anywhere else.
My thoughts on the foundation:
Right off the bat, the foundation is easy to blend out. It does give medium coverage and it’s definitely lightweight on the skin. I couldn’t tell I had it on the first time I used it. I love that I am able to build up the coverage if I want to and it won’t look cakey or feel heavy on the skin. The foundation did pass the test on the long-wearing and it definitely kept my oily areas matte throughout the day even with a hydrating primer.
As far as sweat-resistant goes, I will need to put it to the test come hot days. It’s still not hot in Wisconsin so I can’t really say if it holds up. I don’t wear makeup when I work out either so I couldn’t put that to the test.
Will I repurchase this foundation again? Yes, I would. I even plan to purchase a few for my freelance makeup artist kit for my clients. Because I do believe this foundation is worth every penny and worth the hype.
I do love how the foundation comes in a squeeze bottle although I do normally prefer a pump. But the squeeze bottle makes it easy to get the product out. The formula is runny but I had no issues with the application. It blended out beautifully with a beauty blender and brush.
Have you tried the foundation?
