Let’s talk about the Dior Forever Matte foundation. I saw this at Sephora and I knew that I had to get it. The reason for that is because it’s a matte foundation and it contains SPF. Because I do get more oily in the summertime, it is time to start buying foundations that are matte that I can wear come summer days.
Dior Forever Matte Foundation Review
According to Dior – this foundation is a 24hr wear, transfer-proof, it contains skin ingredients to help improve skin over time and its medium coverage. On top of that, it contains SPF 15. There are 3 key ingredients in this foundation:
- Iris Extract: Guards against oxidation
- Rose Extract: Refines skin texture
- Wild Pansy Extract: Maintains hydration for healthy-looking skin
After trying out the Dior Forever Matte Foundation for 8 hours because I do not wear foundation for more than that. I noticed that I was dry throughout the day. Meaning my skin didn’t get oily. I also noticed how lightweight the foundation felt on my skin. Personally for me, in the summer I do not want to have on heavy foundation because it’s already hot. You are able to build up the foundation to full coverage if you like. The foundation does come in 42 different shades so you are going to find your shade. The Dior Forever Matte Foundation is formulated without parabens and phthalates.
I definitely think this foundation is worth the purchase especially if you are a combo to oily skin. Dior does have a sister foundation for those who have dry skin and it’s called Dior Forever Skin Glow. Because this foundation does have SPF in it, I do not recommend using this foundation if you are going to be in a wedding or being photographed professionally. SPF does not photograph well. You will get that white flashback on your face.
