Facial Serums Worth Investing

Who here loves using facial serums? I know I do. It’s probably my favorite skincare products, to be honest. Using a facial serum is an important part of my skincare routine and it should be for you too! In today’s post, I am going to tell you what is a facial serum, why it’s important to use a facial serum, how to use it and which facial serums are worth investing in.

What is a facial serum and why it’s important?

Using a serum is going to deliver powerful ingredients directly into your skin. The serum is made up of smaller molecules that can penetrate deeply into your skin and deliver a high concentration of active ingredients. There are different types of serums. I prefer serums that don’t contain any moisturizer since I will be applying moisturizer afterward.

How to Use a Serum?

Once you are done with cleansing your skin, you will need to pat dry your face, you’re going to apply a facial serum of your choice. You can use a jade roller to massage the serum on your skin to penetrate the serum into your skin faster. Then you will apply your moisturizer.

Facial Serums Worth Investing In

I have used so many facial serums in the last few years and honestly, I can’t complain about any bad ones. I loved them all. But I will say that the following serums I am going to share are definitely worth investing in. I am a firm believer in investing in skincare because skincare products are important.

Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hyaluronic Acid is actually good for your skin. It binds to moisture and draws it into the skin to maintain a healthy moisture balance and protect from dehydration. Our skin needs hydration and this definitely helps me ensure my skin is hydrated.

Dermalogica Age Smart Biolumin-C Serum

I love using this one because it helps with fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and dullness. This Vitamin C serum utilizes biotechnology, lactic acid, and an ultra-stable Vitamins C complex. These ingredients help fight the appearance of wrinkles even way before they start. The vegan peptide and AHA gently exfoliate the skin to reduce unbalanced pigmentation. [Affordable Option: Pixi Beauty Vitamin C]

Pixi Beauty Collagen & Retinol Serum

I have used this before and completely finished it. I do need to restock once I am done with all of my serums but this one is so good. It helps soften fine lines and revive the skin’s natural radiance. The three key ingredients Acacia Collagen helps boost elasticity and plumps the skin, Retinol helps smooths and refines the skin, and lastly, Chamomile helps calm and soothe the skin.

Kate Sommerville Kx Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum

Another great serum especially if you’re looking to help fine lines and wrinkles, skin elasticity and firmness. I was a bit hesitant about this product but after using it for almost 2 months, I have been loving it. I definitely have noticed a difference. Because I am in my 30s I do worry about wrinkles and age spots. Using this product now is going to help make sure that no wrinkles happen. [Affordable Option: Good Molecules Super Peptide Serum]

Physicians Formula Rosé All Day Serum

This is an oil-free serum that helps tighten and brighten your skin, giving you that beautiful radiant glow. It’s enriched with rose water which helps soothe, calm and hydrates your skin. It contains antioxidant-rich Goji and Kakadu Plum.
