Having a skincare routine is so important to me. I take pride in making sure that the products I am using are actually working on my skin and making my skin feel and look good. Yesterday I went in for a facial treatment that my lovely future hubby got me for my birthday. I try to go at least 2-3x a year to get a facial but when I went in today, the esthetician looked at my skin and she told me “You have beautiful skin”. She asked me what products I was using which I, of course, told her and she was so impressed.
Why was she impressed? Well because she sees so many different people and everyone uses so many different products on their skin. She told what I was doing and using was definitely working and I should continue to do so. I love hearing that especially from a pro who KNOWS what your skin should look like.
Of course with being a blogger I get a lot of products sent to me but I still purchase my own especially if I love the product so much. Now with the season changing, I have updated my skincare routine. I’ve been using these products for the past 2 months and I have stuck with it. This will definitely be a routine I plan to keep until I find/test new products.

Fall Skincare Routine
Not everyone has a skin type. I am going to express this right now “THIS WORKS FOR ME“. I have combination skin in the fall/winter months. I will indicate if the product does work for all skin types. If not, I’ll share a similar product from the same brand that is meant for dry skin.
Dermalogica PreCleanse (All Skin Types)
I have been using the Dermalogica PreCleanse as a way to remove my makeup for a few months now. Depending on how much I have on, I will use a makeup wipe first and then use the PreCleanse. It really does deep clean into the skin while removing your makeup even waterproof stubborn mascara. It’s a plant-based cleaning oil that is fortified with olive and kukui oils. It thoroughly melts your makeup when you start to rub the PreCleanse on the skin. Once you have noticed that the makeup is off, splash water on the skin and it’ll turn into a milky emulsion.
Tula Purifying Face Cleanser (All Skin Types – Suggested for Dry Skin)
I freaking love this cleanser. It’s so good on the skin. You can literally feel the cleanser cleaning deep in your skin. The cleanser is refreshing probiotic gel cleanser. It does go deep in your pores to help remove impurities and help condition your skin. It’s not going to strip or over-dry your skin. It helps promote your skin’s natural moisture balance. Leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized once I am done cleansing my face. I love using the cleanser with my PMD Clean brush.
Having the PMD Clean brush helps get deeper into my pores and skin to ensure all the dirt and any makeup residue is being removed. It is pricey but worth it. Another great cleansing brush is the Foreo Luna.
GLAMGLOW SUPERTONER™ (Normal, Combo & Oily Skin)
Once I am done washing my face with my cleanser, I go ahead and apply the GlamGlow SUPERTONER™ with a cotton pad. This will help control your oils on your skin for those who are oily. It contains clay, charcoal, and six acids to help exfoliate, purify, and clarify the skin’s complexion.
For those with Dry Skin – You want to use the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner. This product I’ve talked about before on my blog and it’s definitely an item I use when I am feeling dry in the winter months.
Pixi Beauty Overnight Glow Serum (All Skin Types)
I use this at night right after applying my toner. I personally don’t like to use a serum in the morning if I am going to put on makeup. It helps exfoliate, soothe the skin and give you brighter looking skin. Does contain 10% glycolic acid & arginine. Also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and fade sun spots over time. And it clearly works because I don’t have any sunspots on my skin or any sun damage.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
I use this help with blemishes or when I spot a pimple. It does target blemishes, remove impurities and mattifies your skin. I don’t recommend this if you’re someone with dry skin because it does contain 15% tea tree oil concentrate which will dry your skin even more. Great for blemished skin, acne and blackheads.
Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm (All Skin Types)
I’ve only been using this for a little over a month and this is amazing. I don’t know why it took me so long to try it out. I use this in the am right after I apply my moisturizer to help with my under eyes. It gives you this immediate cooling sensation, provides hydration and glow to your skin. You look refresh and energized.
ELEMIS Peptide 4 Eye Recovery Cream (All Skin Types)
This is my go-to eye cream at night. I use it at night because I want to sit on my skin without any makeup over it. It’s a skin synchronizing eye cream that helps revive and restore the appearance of tired and overworked eyes. The key ingredients to the Peptide 4 Eye Recovery cream are the Peptide 4 which helps to balance and revitalize the skin under the eyes, Avensis and Night Scented Stock Oils helps replenish lost moisture and improve skin elasticity while reducing the look of lines and wrinkles, and Hawkweed and Daisy Extracts which targets the appearance of dark shadows, for brighter, younger-looking eyes around the clock.
Clinique iD™ Moisturizer + Concentrate for Pores & Uneven Texture (All Skin Types)
This has been my go-to moisturizer. It’s customized to me because of my skincare concerns. I’ve shared it about on my stories before and it’s definitely a moisturizer I highly recommend. How does it work? You select your moisturizer and your cartridge. For me, I have the Oil-Control Gel moisturizer + Cartridge for Pores & Uneven Texture.
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD® Clearing Treatment Mask (Oily & Combo Skin)
I’ve shared this mask numerous times and I won’t stop. I love this mask and use it once a week to help clean my skin out. It’s a clarifying mask with six exfoliating acids and activated charcoal to instantly and visibly clear pores and clarify the complexion. Whenever I am having small breakouts I simply apply this for 15 minutes, rinse it out and do my normal skincare routine. Next day my skin is looking fresh. This stuff works.
For those with dry skin: I recommend the GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD™. It’s a non-drying hydration mask to deliver instant, extreme moisture.
There you have it. This is my updated skincare routine. With new products constantly coming out. I will definitely keep you guys posted as far as what products I am loving and how it fits into my skincare routine.
