February BOXYCHARM

february boxycharm

It’s that time of the month. And no I don’t mean Aunt Flo visiting (ha!) but BOXYCHARM unboxing. As you know this is one of my favorite subscription boxes that I currently have where I get 5 full-size products all for $25/month. The boxes are themed every month so each product has a purpose. On top of that, they hand-pick each of these items. But each box is different for everyone. My box may look different from others. Let’s see what’s inside February’s box:

Let’s talk about the items I received in this month’s BOXYCHARM. I received a set of makeup brushes, three skincare products, and a face primer.

Touch In Sol – Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm – $32

I have never used any products from Touch In Sol. This was a new brand to me, so I was definitely excited to give it a try. This is an ultra-hydrating priming skin balm. It smooths out the skin’s texture by melting into your skin and creating this beautiful glow that lasts all day. It’s great to use right before doing your makeup. It works as a 5-in-1 glow balm, hydrates + moistens the skin, primes, boosts skin radiance and gives a glowy skin. Definitely great if you have dry skin or if you love a dewy finish.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads – $34

I’ve actually used this before. I first tried them out when I got them as a gift for Christmas. I loved how it made my skin feel. The Facial Radiance Pads are a 3-in-1. It helps exfoliate, tone and brighten your skin. It works with all skin types including sensitive skin. It helps smooth out the skin’s texture. It can be used in the am right before applying your makeup.

Kate Somerville Kx Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptide Serum – $98

According to the Kate Somerville site, this peptide serum has a lot of skin benefits. I mean for $98 it better. This serum visibly treats and transforms dull, sagging skin while powerfully improving elasticity and firmness. It also revitalizes moisture for a fresher, younger-looking complexion. Basically this will help with wrinkles.

As a 31-year-old mom, I definitely see how this can be beneficial for anti-aging. I have only been using it for about a week so I will need to report back on my Instagram account on how I like it and if it’s working.

PUR Cosmetics 4-in-1 Correcting Primer Energize & Rescue – $33

You guys already know that I love a few products from PUR Cosmetics. This primer is another item added to my favorite list. I think this primer is great if you’re going to be wearing makeup all day. It’s got aloe, caffeine, coconut water, and probiotics to help your skin if you’re wearing makeup for a long period of time. I only wear makeup for a long time on weekends when I have to work or plan to go out so this is when I use the primer.

Alamar Cosmetics Complexion Brush Trio – $36

Another new brand to me. These brushes are vegan and made from synthetic fibers. I will say these brushes are so soft, but that’s how it is with any new brushes you get. The trio brushes can be used for bronzing, brightening and blush. I definitely recommend these brushes. I didn’t have any issues with them. I also love the copper handles.

  1. Those copper makeup brushes are catching my eye! I have never subscribed to Boxy Charm, but it looks like you get a good value and the products are decently sized. Here’s looking forward to the March box!
