Thank you Culver’s for sponsoring this post.
Tis’ the season to be jolly! The holidays are in full gear and this time of the year is so important to me. Especially as a mom because I love to make sure that Rylan and Landon have the best holidays. We have a few family holiday traditions and we usually start them at the beginning of November. I’m pretty sure you know which is number 1 when it comes to our holiday traditions.

Four Family Holiday Traditions
1. Going to Culver’s for Dinner
It’s true. There are some nights that I don’t feel like cooking. I rather go and sit down and have food prepared for me and my family, and that’s why Culver’s is one of our favorite places to eat. We’ve been going here for years. We tend to go at least 2-4 times per month. Anytime I ask what we should eat, Landon always says “CULVERS”. Their food is so tasty and it’s prepared then and there for you.
Culver’s serves a variety of items, so picky eaters like myself and Landon can always find something we want. Culver’s has options like Chicken Tenders which is both mine and Landon’s favorite to order. My other son Rylan loves having their ButterBurger with cheese and bacon. He always adds bacon to his burger. My husband Brian on the other hand either goes for the Culver’s Bacon Deluxe or the Wisconson Swiss Melt.
Another MUST-HAVE is there Fresh Frozen Custard! The boys love having a scoop of vanilla and they get to pick any toppings for it that they want. I prefer an M&M’s Concrete Mixer because I love chocolate, and Brian has always preferred a Reese’s, Concrete Mixer. But there are lots more options for toppings to choose from for your Concrete Mixer.
Culver’s has become our tradition when we do our shopping for the holidays. It’s warm, family-friendly, and a great place for us to take a break from the craziness of shopping or just holiday busyness in general.
If you have yet to visit a Culver’s, what are you waiting for? Take a stop at your local Culver’s by December 29th and you’ll receive a coupon for a FREE Value Basket when you purchase $30 in gift cards. You won’t regret it.
2. Decorate Our Tree and House
We always put up our Christmas tree and house decorations on November 1st. The reason for this is because we love to see everything looking festive for a full 2 months. While we decorate, we make sure to play Christmas music – because you can’t decorate for the holidays without listening to some holiday cheer.
3. Watch Our Favorite Christmas Movies
We LOVE Christmas movies and this is something we take pride in between November and December. Every night we will watch one movie as a family. We go to the store to pick up our favorite movie snacks, then light up Christmas scented candle, plug in the Christmas tree, and we snuggle together.
4. We Bake Holiday Treats
Gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, and brownies are our favorites to bake. I like to set up a table for cookie decorating so that the boys can decorate each one.
Tell me, do you have any holiday traditions?
