I have been really getting into finding ways to improve my skin, hair, and nails. I use to be a nail-biter. YUCK, I know. But up until 4 years ago I actually stopped that terrible habit. I love seeing my nails long but at times I’ve noticed they were so brittle, thin, and not strong at all. Which sucks because then they’re constantly breaking. I have been trying to find ways to intake nutrients that are going to help not only with my nails but also with my hair and skin.
I have talked about before on my blog how I love adding collagen to my drinks or food and why it’s important to take collagen. But today I am going to share with you a smoothie bowl recipe that has beauty benefits for your hair, skin, and nails. Not only is this smoothie bowl recipe healthy but it also contains protein and collagen beauty greens.
What are the benefits of collagen beauty greens?
It improves your skin moisture, smoothness, and tones your skin. One of my favorites to use is this Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Greens which is Non-GMO Marine Collagen Peptides that is combined with healthy organic greens rich in Vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, and probiotics so it delivers beauty from within for healthy skin, hair, and nails.

Green Smoothie Bowl
Personally, for me, I don’t like mixing the collagen beauty greens with just water so I had to find a way to intake it by masking the flavor. I’m just picky when it comes to a protein or collagen powders like that so this smoothie bowl recipe definitely helped intake the collagen beauty greens. It’s so delicious and perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a midday snack.
With me getting married next year, I definitely want to ensure that my skin is looking amazing and glowy, my nails are strong and healthy, and of course that my hair is beautiful.
Peach Pineapple Banana Green Smoothie Bowl
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen sliced peaches
- 1/2 of banana
- 1 tsp vailla extract
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 1/2 cup silk coconut milk
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 scoop collagen beauty greens
- 1. In a blender add the banana, collagen beauty greens, coconut milk, peaches, pineapples, vanilla extract, chia seeds and spinach.
- 2. Once you have blended the ingredients, place it in a bowl and add any toppings. I personally prefer sliced almonds, bananas and chia seeds. But any should work.
I prefer to use frozen fruit just cause I don’t like to add ice to my smoothies. It waters it down. But that is up to you!
