My boyfriend and I decided to get some salmon the other and we wanted fresh salmon. We went to our local grocery store and they have a seafood market inside, so we decided to try out their fresh salmon. We got these two slices of salmon for a total of $10.50!! How awesome is that?
Of course I love a good garlic & herb salmon. I’m sharing with you my recipe.

- 2 fillet of salmon the fresher the better
- 2 tbsp McCormick Garlic & Herb blend
- 2 tbsp McCormick Lemon & Pepper blend
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- Non-stick cooking spray
- 4 tbsp butter
-
Preheat oven at 415 degrees.
-
In a baking sheet, spray the non-stick cooking spray. Place the salmon on the baking sheet.
-
Drizzle 2 tbsp olive oil per fillet and brush the olive oil all around the salmon (both sides).
-
Mix together the seasoning in a small bowl and then sprinkle the seasoning on both sides of the salmon fillet. Place 2 tbsp of butter on top of each fillet.
-
Pop the salmon in the oven for 15 mins or until the salmon is flakey. After the 15 mins, place the fillet in the plate and enjoy it with your favorite side dish.

This looks delicious! I don’t eat much salmon because it has such a strong taste, I really need to eat more of the healthy fish. Will have to give this a try, maybe the herbs will help tone the strong fish taste down.
