January BOXYCHARM
Let’s talk about the items I received in this month’s BOXYCHARM. I got 5 full-sized items. Four of the items were makeup products and one of them was skincare. I created this makeup look using the eyeshadow palette, mascara, blush/bronzer duo, and highlight.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask
I love using sleeping masks. I can easily apply this to my face, go to bed, and wash it off in the morning. You only use a dime size on your skin. It’s a luxuriously bouncy, breathable sleeping mask that helps smoothe out your skin overnight. It’s a pillow-proof formula acting as a radiance-boosting hyaluronic acid face mask. It’s formulated with an amino-acid rich watermelon extract, hydrating hyaluronic acid and pore refining AHA’s that work while you sleep. This helps exfoliate and clarify your skin. Works with all skin types!
Grande Cosmetics GrandeDrama Mascara
This mascara is definitely thick and black. The reason for this it’s because this mascara is an intense thickening mascara that’s infused with castor oil to help your lashes. This will promote lush, dense looking lashes with unbeatable shine and glossiness. Also helps lift, lengthen and volume to your lashes. The mascara is not clumpy at all. I will continue to use it.
TooFaced Diamond Light Highlighter
I was a little hesitant about this highlighter because I wasn’t sure how it would look on my skin. I was sent the shade “Canary” which is a sparkly gilded rose. The highlighter is a luminous finish highlighter with light-reflecting pearls. As you can see the highlighter looks gold but with movement, it has this beautiful rose gold shimmer.
Wander Beauty Trip for Two Blush and Bronzer Duo
I have never used any of Wander Beauty products and I was actually impressed with this blush and bronzer duo. I think it’s perfect for traveling. The bronzer isn’t orange at all. You get a beautiful sun-kissed glow. The blush is beautifully pigmented and works beautifully with my skin tone. I can’t wait to continue to use it.
Ace Beautē Scarlet Dusk Palette
This palette is stunning. It’s got beautiful shimmers and mattes. It comes with 12 eyeshadows that are reminiscent sunsets witnessed in various locations around the world. Don’t be intimidated by the colors. You can easily use these come spring/summertime. The eyeshadows blend easily and are pigmented as you can see from my arm swatch. I even created this beautiful eye look using this palette.
