How many of you have tried the NEW Maybelline SUPERSTAY Matte Ink liquid lipsticks? I purchased these after I saw a few beauty bloggers rave about it. I am such a matte liquid lipstick girl so I knew I had to try these out. I was a bit concerned about how drying these would be considering they are meant to last on your lips for about 16 hours.
Maybelline SUPERSTAY Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick
This is a NON-drying matte liquid lipstick, it can last up to 16 hours and they come in 20 different shades. It’s also waterproof and transfer proof according to Maybelline. When Maybelline launched these shades they had a bunch of nudes and pinks but now they have bold colors. I decided to buy the shades that I know I would personally use.

The liquid lipsticks do have a strong scent that almost smells like candy or even cake frosting if that makes sense lol. I personally don’t mind because I love when lipsticks have a scent to them, especially when it smells like sweets.
[bctt tweet=”Is the @maybelline SUPERSTAY Matte Ink worth using? See for yourself.” username=”thejasminemaria”]Despite the fact that the lipstick is mattifying, the formula does apply smoothly, and it doesn’t feel dry on the lips compared to other mattifying liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. I will say this, the colors are EXTREMELY pigmented, waterproof and transfer proof. I did put it to the test. The only way this lipstick is going to come off your lips is with a good lip remover. I even tried my makeup remover wipes and cleansing oils didn’t work. Lucky I had some lip removers from Beauty Bakerie that worked amazingly with it.
Worth it? Yes, I honestly think this lipstick is worth buying. Especially when you need a long-lasting lipstick-like for special events. If you’re someone who has dry lips, definitely recommend using a lip exfoliator or applying a lip balm a few minutes before you apply the lipstick so it doesn’t dry out your lips even more.
