Before I started to get into makeup, I really didn’t give much care to my brows. Once I realized that brows are so important, I tested out many brow products and figured out what works best for me. I’ve tested MANY MANY MANY eyebrow products from mascara wand, pencils, gel, pomade, and powder. But for the last few months, I’ve been consistently reaching and abusing these brands and their products.
Most Used Eyebrow Products
Furrowcious! Brow Pencil – I really love this brow pencil because it’s easy to use. It glides on the brow so easily and the color is pigmented. It’s also smudge-proof.
Eylure Brow Palette – These little quad palettes come with a brow highlight, wax, and brow powder. The wax is used to apply onto the brows so the powder stays in place and applies perfectly. I love that I am able to apply however much I need to my brows to make them look natural or bold.
Brow Pomade – This is such a major dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade. It’s pigmented, creamy, waterproof and smudge proof.
Brow Powder Duo – Favorite of mine when it comes to using powders. What’s different about this one is that it comes to shades. So you’re able to apply the darker shade on the end and lighter shade towards the front of the brows.
Ka-Bow Pomade – Although the product comes with a brush, I don’t actually use it. The product does come in a very small packaging (at least I think it does) but you definitely need to try this. The pigmentation is amazing, super easy to use, it’s a cream-gel formula and smudge-proof. A little amount of the product goes a long way.
Tame & Frame Pomade – Not many people like this pomade by NYX but I do. I find it easy to use, creamy, and long-lasting. Just like the Ka-Bow Pomade, a little goes a long way.
Precisely, My Brow Pencil – A favorite of mine to use on clients that have very fine and unshaped brows. It’s easy to work with and you can easily create a brow using the pencil.
Goof Proof Brow Pencil – Easily create and fill your brows. Love to use this when I am on the go.
Brow Case – Comes with a variety of shades. Which is awesome to have for my freelance kit. But I do love to use it on myself as well. The colors are pigmented, comes with a brush/spooley, pencil, and it includes a wax and highlight for the brow bone.
Most Used Brow Brushes
I’m sure you’re also wondering what my favorite brushes are to use when it comes to the brow pomade and powders.
When it comes to the pomade products, my ride or die eyebrow brush is the Anastasia Beverly Hills #14. I haven’t stopped using this brush since I first purchased it back in 2015. It is $18 (so a bit pricey) but I promise you this brush is the best when it comes to pomades.
When it comes to the powder products, these are my favorite brushes to use; Bella & Bear Angled Brow Brush and e.l.f. Cosmetics.
