There’s something about creating holiday looks that makes me happy. I honestly live for this because I just love getting all dolled up for anything this time of the year. If you do have holiday parties coming up this month, definitely stay tuned for more looks that you may want to rock/recreate for that party. Now you’re probably wondering “why olive green?”, cause it’s a Christmas color duh. I would totally rock this eye look at a holiday party. Especially with a cute black dress with my hair down or put in a beautiful messy ponytail.

For this eye look, I used 2 different eyeshadow palettes but they were both drugstore palettes. The first eyeshadow palette I used was the Wet’n Wild “The 40 Palette“. This is their newest palette for their 40th anniversary. It was sent to me in the mail by them and I was completely amazed by the colors. It contains matte, metallics, and pearl shades. The best part is that it’s only $19.99. The second eyeshadow palette is the Profusion Cosmetics “Chocolates” palette which also happens to a good affordable palette.

Because the eye look was bold, I decided to go with a glossy nude lip. YES SHOCKING. I used a gloss for this makeup look but this is one of my favorite glosses that I own and it’s from ColourPop. It’s not sticky at all. Below you’ll be able to see a chatty tutorial on how I created this makeup look and the products I used will be listed below.
e.l.f Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer + Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer // PUR Cosmetics Love Your Selfie 4-in-1 foundation // COVER FX Power Play concealer // Covergirl Full Spectrum concealer for cream contouring // Maybelline Shine Control Setting Powder // Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer // PUR Cosmetics Contour Diaries (no longer available) // Essence Satin Blush // Laura Geller Gelato Swirl
Morphe Eye Primer // Wet’n Wild 40 palette (they don’t have names so I used the 2 darkest green colors) // Profusion Cosmetics Chocolates palette (groovy, quest, blitz, cypress & conquest) // Urban Decay Perversion mascara // Ardell Studio Effect “wispy” // Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brow
