This week for #WeddingWednesday I am going to be sharing details about our wedding party. We were careful with who we picked to be on our sides. Brian had his two his brothers, our best friend Danny and my two boys Rylan and Landon. I had my sister, my best friend Diana and Jacey and cousin Andrea. We didn’t want to have a huge party because that can be very overwhelming.

Let me tell you, I work weddings and doing 6-10 girls is a lot of work. I knew I was going to be doing their makeup so I didn’t want to have that many girls on my side. When it came to figuring out what I wanted my girls to wear for the wedding day, I made the decision to let them pick what they wanted to wear as long as it was navy. Thankfully they all purchased their dresses from Lulu’s and they all happened to get the same dresses. If you’re looking for affordable dresses definitely check out Lulu’s. One thing I did tell my bridesmaids is that the dresses had to be long dresses since it’s a Wisconsin wedding and mother nature is unpredictable. With having long dresses they were at least able to stay somewhat warm.

Both my sister and best friend Diana (since they were my maid/matron of honors) had the same dress the only thing different was that my sister’s dress had to get altered on the back. My best friend Jacey and cousin Andrea had the same dress as well. Their shoes were silver. I did have another close friend of mine get ready with us in the room and had her join our photos.

When it came to picking out what we wanted for the guys to wear, I knew that the gray suits with the navy inside are what I wanted. But I wanted Brian, Rylan, Landon, and Joaquin (nephew) to wear bow ties. I thought it’d be cute if the groom and the little jr groomsman wore the bow ties while the other groomsman and dad wore ties. They all wore cognac color shoes because they looked so much better than black shoes.
